My Pops Forever RIP
If Kandi or Kwame were taken 10th instead of first they would've been solid picks ... Bennett shouldn't even have been a first rounder
Bennett was a sure fire lotto. Had an argument that maybe coulda had him go to Phoenix, but he had no business going #1.

Facts....

'13 draft is just :scusthov: status.

Besides Noel, Giannis, and Gobert...

BUT hindsight is 20-20... :manny:
The draft was considered ass cheeks then.

sad, but Its not on Bennett. Cavs picking him 1 ruined him.

I kinda feel sorry for him man. It wasnt his fault.

@Miggs between his time studying Peyton Manning's three step drop said that Bennett is the next Charles Barkley :mjpls:

I said he had NBA skills and could be a decent player if he got the opportunity...Problem is he may not get it again, hes not going to get it here, for a number of unknown reasons...

Find the post or you're full of shyt.

You are free to look at all my posts from January 1, 2015, to the present. You have nothing better to do and you'll hopefully learn some colorful new words.

Just to help you out, I was responding to somebody complaining about Lebron trading two #1 picks. This was when the Cavs were struggling, but after the Mozgov trade.

that stay in school shyt is corny to me
fukk is a dude really gonna learn staying in school for another year?

He needed to learn how to play a whole game instead of disappearing at times.

His production fell off about halfway through the season because he couldn't adjust to teams keying on him, so he settled for jumpers and when those didn't fall, he was pretty much useless. He needed to learn how to still be effective as a passer and rebounder if his offensive game was off or stagnated by the opposition.

He needed to learn how to take care of his body better.

This is all stuff that would have served him better with another year in school. His draft stock was not going to fall with another year. No one knew he would be the #1, but he was. He was a top-5 pick for sure and nothing was going to drop him from that position the next year either.

Yeah, I never got that. If you can't improve significantly when playing basketball becomes your job, I doubt another year of school would have changed anything.

In the NBA you have no classes and a 5 month offseason, professional coaches, trainers, medical staff, a developmental league, plus experience playing in the NBA. If someone can't get better under those conditions then they just don't have it or this is just who they are as a player.
