They had a bum from the italian league replace the best player in the league dumbfukk :dead: and they still played at a near 60 win pace when healthy and went 7 against the eventual Eastern conference champs.

You Jordan dikkriders are dumb, Jordan had Pippen, a top 10 player in the league, as his sidekick and Grant and Armstrong (the two players that blossomed into all-stars without Jordan) as his role players. Pippen didn't have another top 10 player in the league next to him like Jordan did. Replace Jordan with an all-star and the Bulls win a championship that season.

“Bj Armstrong blossomed into an all star “ :dead: he shot higher 3 point & fg % with jordan goofy. Only difference was he took more shots & played more minutes. Same with Horace grant who was in a contract year. Unlike your dikkriding ass I watched that team in real time, nobody thought the bulls were Anything but an overachieving regular season team. Anybody who watched pippen play knew he couldn’t close games or lead you just regurgitating talking points. Bulls won 55 games & lost in the 2nd round just like the cp3 clippers got clowned for , & after 5 straight ecf/finals appearances with Jordan

So your argument is that he was better with Jordan :lolbron: what point is your dumbass making? Of course that team wasn’t gonna win a championship, they lost MICHAEL JORDAN and replaced him with a bum and a rookie. The fact that they were only two games worse and played the eventual eastern conference champs to a 7 game series says everything you need to know about Jordan’s supporting cast and the state of the league. Replace Jordan with an actual all-star instead of an Italian league bum and they are winning the championship that season. Give Pippen a Pippen:yeshrug:

No Lebron team is playing at a 60 win pace if you replace him with Tony Snell and a rookie similar to Tony Kukoc.

Prime D-Wade and Bosh in 2011 prolly win 60+ games without LeBron there to hold them back. Wade was still a top 3 player at that time and Bosh was 2nd team all-NBA. They coulda been Kobe/Gasol lite without LeBron easily.

If that's true then why didn't Love rise back up when Lebron left? :jbhmm: He was only 30 years old with no major injuries. Instead things got much worse for him immediately after. No all-star appearances since.

LeBron destroyed his confidence. Did you forget his mental health issues?

Look up the name Rick Ankiel. Went from a young stud MLB pitcher with tons of potential to a guy who couldn't get near the plate anymore once he got the yips. It got so bad with Ankiel he went down to the minors to learn how to be an outfielder before he could get back to the majors.

Confidence plays a huge role in sports. LeBron killed his confidence hence the reason he was never the same again.

Atlanta hawks won 60 games & were 1 seed & got smoked in the ecf ,Miami heat were 1 & 2 seeds back to back seasons & didn’t get out the 1st or 2nd round.there’s pretender regular season juggernauts like the ‘94 bulls were. everybody knows Jordan had a great supporting cast , you keep ignoring the fact the bulls were 1 game out the 7 seed & 2 games over .500 when Jordan returned. ‘94 was an anomaly

If he had low confidence and mental health issues he was a fake star to begin with. Any real super star wouldn't have those issues. That's why he never played a single play-off game without Lebron and made 4 finals including winning a championship with him. It was easy for him hide those issues in Minnesota where things didn't matter. The pressure broke him.

I guess that's one way to juelz your way out of this. Bron stans are experts at cognitive dissonance.

When you're the clear-cut #1 option on a team you're going to put up more numbers than when you're sharing the offensive load with 2/3 players....I'll use Davis/Cousins as an example.

The 2017-18 season:
Anthony Davis averaged 26.5 points and 10.4 rebounds in 42 games with DeMarcus Cousins
Anthony Davis averaged 30.2 points and 11.9 rebounds in 33 games without DeMarcus Cousins

It seems as though some of you would prefer AD put up godly stats and the lakers lose than see him share with Lebron and the Lakers win......When Lebron makes his return Davis' numbers will go down.....But as long as he's still a primary focal point of the offense, it really shouldn't matter. Especially if the Lakers are winning games.

Thread got off topic the premise is correct. The Lakers and Anthony Davis look like a better team without Bron monopolizing possessions and westbrook coming off the bench. They need to keep playing through AD and making sure he gets quality shots where he wants them

How is the premise correct? :mjlol: They beat the Spurs and the Pistons, two of the worst teams in the league, each playing in LA on the second night of a back to back. They're 0-3 without Lebron against teams above .500, including a 30 point loss to the Jazz. That’s like saying Cooper Rush is a better QB then Dak because he has a better record as a starter.

Their third best player would be either Chalmers or Udonis Haslem. Their rotation consisted of washed Bibby, washed Illgauskas, Joel Anthony, Carlos Arroyo, Eddie House. That team is lucky to win 45 games without Bron. Wade is blowing his knee out a lot sooner carrying that load.

So know you're predicting injuries? 2011 Wade was better than LeBron. Him and Bosh would have been the best one-two punch in the league. Without LeBron holding them back they would have dominant. The league back then had a more even spread of talent so having Chalmers and Haslem as your third and fourth best player would have been fine. Remember LeBron's Cavs won 60+ games in back to back years with the likes of Anderson Varejo as the 3rd/4th best player on the team.

Wade could be completely healthy that season and the Heat would still struggle to win 45 games. Lebron was better than Wade throughout that entire season and in every playoff series besides the finals. Without Lebron, the Heat would have the worst 3-11 in the league. Compare Chalmers and Haslem as your third and fourth best players to Ray Allen and Rondo, Lamar Odom and Ron Artest/Andrew Bynum, Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer, James Harden and Serge Ibaka, Jason Kidd and Jason Terry, etc.. The Heat would be allocating minutes to some of the worst players in the league.. a Chalmers/Wade/James Jones/Haslem/Bosh starting lineup isn't winning 60 games.
