Loser mentality. He's cut from the same cloth as Rashard Lewis and Tobias Harris, just more way more talented.

Mike, Bron, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Shaq, etc. all those guys wanted to be the face. He will not get to that level, no way.

Nothing wrong with that. When did this whole talk of “face of the league” start anyway? It’s supposed to be organic anyway. Iverson never asked or wanted to be the face of the NBA, but he became the most popular player because he represented the hip hop culture and anti-corporate image.

Jayson Tatum is everything someone would want from a face of the NBA. Non controversial, speaks eloquently, plays for a storied franchise, but his personality is bland.

I think he would’ve been better off just saying his priority is to win championships. That’s how someone like Kobe would’ve answered opposed to deflecting to Wemby or sounding like he don’t give af.

Ant is simply a product of his generation and lacks media training so it comes across the wrong way.

LeBron & Steph on the last stages of their careers

Same reason there was an obsession over finding the next MJ when his career was winding down
