Anthony Edwards’ ex Ayesha Howardallegedly demanded $500,000 and a public apology from the NBA star in their court battle, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

Edwards, 24, claimed in court documents filed on Wednesday, August 6 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard claimed Howard, 38, has failed to execute paperwork granting her sole legal and physical custody of their daughter Aubri, born in October 2024.

The court awarded Howard sole custody and told the parties to put it all in an agreement on May 20.

Edwards and Howard have been unable to do so. Howard claimed Edwards’ team sent her an agreement that added a provision that would prevent her from disparaging the basketball player publicly. The deal also said she could not post photos of their daughter. She claimed she never agreed to those terms.

In the new motion, Edwards’ team said they eventually removed the provision but now Howard demanded additional items.

The NBA All-Star said his ex demanded a public apology from him that was required to be posted “on all of his official social media platforms, publicly retracting all false and defamatory or misleading statements made about her during” the court battle and “affirming her integrity and her role as a mother of their daughter.”

Edwards claimed his ex also demanded an “exorbitant” $500,000 in damages. The Georgia native’s team said Howard has refused to sign the paperwork without her demands.

In the motion, Edwards said he continues to rack up legal bills having to defend himself in court.

Howard tells Us, “I want to make it clear that my request for compensation was never tied to agreeing to any custody orders. I asked for compensation due to the substantial financial and reputational damages I’ve endured during this prolonged litigation with Anthony Edwards.”

At a hearing on May 19, Howard claimed Edwards had never met their daughter.

As far as child support goes, I mean, as far as child custody goes, Anthony does not want anything to do with my child. He has expressed that. He has shown that. I haven’t seen him. [Aubri] hasn’t seen him — never. So, I mean, whether custody was honestly here or in Mars, I don’t think it would inconvenience him or matter at all,” she said. As Uspreviously reported, Howard submitted alleged text messages sent by Edwards after she informed him of their pregnancy into evidence.

they're both in the wrong but Ant just deciding not to be in his kids life is some bytch ass shyt. u don't even need to interact with her, go through a third party if u dont want to deal with her. but creating life and willingly walking away when ur financially set doesn't make no sense to me.
