He was basically a pampered and manufactured star athlete from time he won gold in London.

He has always had the backing of the media machine in the UK and doesn't know how to cope with his diminishing star power. He's also realizing he's not as good as he thinks he is.

He's 32 with not much mileage as a heavyweight. He should take 2 years off and get his mental health together. Get into something other than boxing.

Both began boxing as adults....

To suggest neither is "good" is to not have a full grasp on the nuances of the sport...
