I'm not a huge boxing follower but Joshua never seemed good to me. Big, no footwork and stiff like Wilder. That's why both em lost to TRUE boxers.
Joshua is like the Mitchell trubisky of boxing. He just looks the part he doesn't really have the exceptional talent. Wilder just has no skills.

They fumbled a bag not facing each other some years back.

Joshua was a gold medalists.
Wilder was bronze medalists...
Both held world titles...
Wilder had what, 10 defenses...
Joshua is a two time world title holder...

Both began boxing as adults....

To suggest neither is "good" is to not have a full grasp on the nuances of the sport...

Both have gaping holes in their game, and where always questioned as far as staying power...But both have proven they are far beyond "good".

Exactly.

:wow:

The Truth
I actually missed this part

I basically checked out after the cards were read and went to pick up food.

I don’t think it was too bad but Joshua has been off for a minute. I still remember him with bloody knuckles doing one interview (and if you box, protecting your hands is VERY important).

But the blood was fresh af. Nothing really special but AJ needs therapy. Something is going on behind the scenes.

And he had enough chances to stop Usyk even though Usyk is a better skilled boxer. He hurt Usuke like 3 times and took his foot off the gas each time.

1000 times this. People are way to quick to write a fighter off as a 'bum' after a loss. I'm no great fan of AJ, but dude is a gold medalist and 2 time world champion, but now he's trash because he lost to a top 3 p4p fighter? Come on...

He's a full blown cornball for that post fight interview/WWE promo though :lolbron:
