1)People are not "caught up" with his running ability.
2)When most people talk about AR, they talk about inaccurate passing and low passing % from HS/college/NFL.
They are caught up with his running ability. It’s THE REASON he was drafted so highly.

It's August 2025.
Colts fans, analytics community, dynasty fantasy football community, casuals been OUT on AR5 and don't give a fukk about his running ability.

Either the oc is failing him or he just not getting it it’s clear he’s learning something because he identifies a look, but he fails to see the backside or know the backside is where the blitz is coming from

Is that why Richardson got hurt on a blindside hit from an unblocked defense end :pachaha:
You read the NFL player analysis a few posts later? The right side couldn’t block 3v2. Doesn’t look like Richardson did enough to diagnose the pressure pre-snap.

If the DE/OLB didn’t get to dude and was blocked then the blitzing LB would’ve got there untouched.

If Dylan Raiola were drafted eligible this year dude would bring the Manning feeling back to Indy, especially behind that offensive line.

Calling his own protections, pre-snap reads, multiple audible sequences, flipping the playbook around, etc. Perfect QB for that situation plus the laser rocket arm.

Colts need to get creative to get a high draft pick two years from now, maybe anticipate a team being really bad and try to trade for a high pick.

This nikka owes Josh Allen and especially Lamar half his salary because 10-15 years ago he would've been playing WR or TE. You can't tell me he's more talented than someone like Joe Milton.

Probably should have taken the DE and let the linebacker through. At least that guy should be in Richardson field of vision so he can see him and make some sort of move.

Seems like there was some communication issue on who was supposed to block who because Richardson doesn't even turn his head to that side of the field.

Actually looking at this play more this looks like a failure by everybody :pachaha:

No receiver runs a hot route. Not one of them ever turn to look for the ball. The only person who does is the running back and he doesn't do it until right when Richardson gets hit. Is that on Richardson? The OC? The center? Who knows. But this blitz wasn't picked up by anyone from the start. Even when the end ran right by the running back free he still didn't turn his head for another 3 or 4 yards:pachaha:

Maybe Richardson should have came off that 1st read faster, but it aint no way in hell he is solely responsible for this sack when none of his receivers even run a route that would allow him to get rid of the ball quick.

Or I guess he should have changed the routes to huh :pachaha:

Thought maybe the little white receiver was hot, he running a shallow route, but nah he just ran across the middle and didn't turn around for a few yards either.
