Is nothin worse than when you’re watching the game(especially if it’s your team) and you can clearly see the pressure and where it’s coming for. And the qb does nothing to react towards it.

That’s that Quincy Carter bullshyt. Even Dak mid ass can recognize and call out The pressure. He can’t recognize coverages all the time. But he can pick up the blitz packages

A clueless QB standing there a sitting duck is one of those things in sports :wow:

It’s basically a big hit every time.

People are concerned that Anthony Richardson came into his 3rd season and didn’t recognize the protection/pressure on that play.

That IS worrisome.

But the issue I’ve always seen with Richardson is that he’s just not an accurate passer. And he never has been. So even if the finger will be okay in a few weeks, he’s likely not going to be reliable through the air.

People are so caught up with his running ability as if he could be the new Cam Newton. But he’s not Cam Newton.

Some things are obvious from the beginning. It’s baffling that the Colts keep lying to themselves about who Richardson is.
It's always something with this guy. He's 6'4" 250... taking a blindside hit like that is rough but wasn't that the whole point of drafting him? He's built like a tank and can take a beating? This guy is always fukking injured. I think he's started something like 16 NFL games and left due to injury/ineffectiveness in 7 games

Dude got schooled by an Super Bowl-Winning QB on the X’s and O’s:

If you recognize pressure and the mismatch/uneven defenders bringing pressure then I think you tell the TE/RB to chip to buy some time so you can go to your left or you get the ball to them quick to attack the pressure. The fact AR doesn’t even looking right tells me he simply didn’t see it pre-snap.

That play really highlights he's not the guy. Usually the center and QB call out the hot LB before the snap. He had to know that if that LB rushed there would be a free rusher, so he has to get the ball out ASAP. Yet he just stood there and didn't even look where the pressure would come from. I don't see how you can make that mistake unless you're just an idiot who can't read defenses and don't know your o-line protections.
This only shows his lack of experience and lack of fear of getting hit. During preseason teams make deals to not blitz, was there an agreement and the defense broke it? Some offenses don’t even allow audibles. We need more info

I told ppl about these type of quarterbacks:mjlol:
Not much experience even at the college level, but physically gifted so all you see is the potential, which is a roll of the dice

That's why I think Sanders is going to succeed. I hope Richardson does too, but relying on becoming houdini just because you have a good 40 time is not a recipe for success as an NFL quarterback, but when you are having difficulty identifying pressure:huhldup:

Another great breakdown by Kurt Warner. Best football channel to learn football concepts.

What dude talks about in this video he’s mentioned multiple times in other videos so it’s consistent.

For those that don’t know: Kurt loves to split the field in two and favor attacking numerical mismatches, always looking out for where they are. Progressions are much easier to make that way. Awesome breakdown of Offensive Linemen play as well and what they’re looking for.

As you can see both the WR and RB have their heads turned around looking for the pass before the DE gets there, if AR is looking to that side that’s a big gain and sees the DE coming.

That's not a thing they agree on, teams usually just play vanilla game plans to not show anything before the season. There was nothing special about that defensive play, they just put 5 near the line and had one guy go and one drop
