I met a guy who told me he doesn't believe we went to the moon and climate change isnt real because he doesn't have tangible proof. He doesn't believe large organizations like governments and NASA etc.

Revelations was written after 60k Roman soldiers stormed Jerusalem after a Jewish revolt and burned down their temple. The dragon is Satan and the beast is Rome.
Revelations is an allegory text about the eventual fall of the Roman empire and to give strength to those being heavily persecuted. At that time it definitely seemed like the end of the world for those early Christians living under Roman rule. Revelations is saying “things are bad right now, and it might get worse, but hold true to your faith and we will be redeemed.” It’s basically a pep talk.
The number 666 is/was the number for Roman emperor Nero who was doing a lot of the persecuting of Christians. He also killed Peter (the one who denied Jesus 3x) by crucifying him upside down. Allegedly, Peter declined dying upright on the cross, saying he didn’t deserve to die the same way as Jesus.
Unfortunately, Revelations is used as a scare tactic for a lot of Christian preachers/pastors. The author of Revelations was just speaking on the current affairs in his world around 70AD.
At the end of the day you have to remember there are literally tons of books, letters and writings that didn’t make it into the 66 book Bible, and a group of men for whatever agenda or reasonings decided that.
Revelations is not about America, the UN or NATO. The Antichrist is not about Barack or Trump or the president after him.

There will be many individuals who are against Moshiach, certainly; but there is no 'anti-Moshiach' who is going to 'dupe' the world into thinking he is Moshiach as the Xians claim. It is antithetical to Judaism and no such concept exists in Tenach. When the time comes it will be as clear as this text. Everybody will understand the picnic is over.
