Carreer yes. Absolute prime? If Aliens came and challenged us, Gronk would be one of my first names on the team sheet.
Gate was a GREAT, GREAT, GREAT player, but I don't see what argument there is for him being BETTER than Gronk. If you want to talk about overall career, sure, I will listen to that, but if you are making me pick between the two for one game, give me Gronk without hesitation. That's no disrespect for Gates.

I have to give it some use. It took me out when it was posted in the Met Gala thread the other night.
.Anyways, as I said, Gates was elite. I just believe Gronk was better during his peak and prime. Hell, we'll see what happens this season. He had 90 yards and two TD's in his first game.

Receiving I would say prime Gates is better but Gronk is closer to him as a receiver than Gates is to Gronk as a blocker

I would say yes to Kelce but Kelce is only 31 and doesn't really block so he has a few more prime years left. It's a no to Gronk tho I do agree Antonio Gates does not get the credit he deserves as a TE.
