Bad Brains changed my life, they blew all those whiny white boys out the water, just because they saw a PBS documentary on the Sex Pistols and decided to do that 
Fishbone are directly influenced by Bad Brains. Similar path as far as musical influences as well
I knew of Bad Brains and was aware they influenced them, but back then I would pledge allegiance to a few acts at a time. Fishbone was my black punk band so I ignored anything else.

Not a fan but it's cute when she's really putting forth great effort and following instructions to the best of her ability.
Yes! Banned in DC alone gets lots of spins. I didn't even know they were black when I first heard them for a bit. Same for Living Color. I got the Sublime effect where I don't assume race cause it can be one way or the other, but them boys are bad.

One of my personal favorite bands of all time. They had so many waves. Punk rock, reggae, hardcore even a little jazz at times.
