Is Denver considered non black?

Funny, the city is not known, at least for me, for it's particularly large black population but they are actually more represented then I thought them to be(%10), and the richest African-American man in the world, Robert Smith, is from there. Also, Aurora, CO has an even more surprisingly proportionately large black population(%16). Are other Denver metro burbs like this?

I am in Seattle so if I want to go even whiter I just need to drive 2 hours north to Vancouver BC.

My parents educated me at a very early age in regards to WS, White People and dealing with them. I grew up in Louisiana in the early 80's and left in 99 so I know very very well of how white people work and think.

So when I do experience racism/prejudice and those are 2 different things...I know how to analyze it, digest it and move forward in my confidence as a black man.

I also work for myself as a SBO (Small Business Owner) and I am financially very well set so when I have to deal with whites who see this then there is a greater deal of confusion, anger and wonder with them as they carry the racism and prejudice by default when encountering me and my own.

It doesn't make me negative or cynical but I am terse and respectful with white people and I always put in play what my mother said "Always have an exit planned when engaged in white conversation or white interaction". This maxim has really saved me from a lot of trouble and stress dealing with them.

At this time however I have 6 white people working for me. 2 women and 4 men. I have the 2 women in managerial roles and the ones below them don't give me any static as they are all eating off me with very very little complaint.

any examples of experiencing racism or prejudice in either LA or Seattle and how did/do you deal with it? Any issues with the large asian demographic?

If most blacks live in states that are not majority black... how do you think they mostly live in majority black cities?

I think breh means a significant black population..obviously its few large majority black cities in the US

And even in those cities, they're still within mostly white states.

You'd be surprised at how many people don't realize how segregated they're living...til you bring it up on a map.

I haven't dealt with racism face to face maybe there was something covert that happened and i just chucked it up to the person being a dikk but then again no one is gonna take it there physically with me because i look imposing and hostile without trying sometimes

I live in the north shore and shyt in the early 2000s there was huge Caribbean mega night cub in the city next to me that was packed and it was mostly patronized by minorities

I don't know who you know here or where you been to here but I haven't dealt with overt racism here where people be wyling using all type of racial slurs, I have had people take jabs at me here and there but once I give them the they cut the shyt.

I live next to a cop dude hasn't bugged me in the past 15 years since I lived on the street and all my neighbors including me stay throwing house parties

I said I live in the greater boston area, I don't live in boston proper.

There are some brehs here but it's mostly white and East Asian. I've been here 2 years now. Moved from London.

I live downtown in a nice but pricey area, but have made friends and acquaintances from all walks of life. Can't say I've met with any racism here, and trust me, I'm attuned to the sly ways some people can try it. I like people I can have honest conversations with, and most Canadians are upfront and honest, no shady shyt.

Dating wise I do very well. Lots of women are on it. I've dated so many Asian women this past year it's been unreal. Of course I never make it too obvious I'm doing well. As I'm not the bragging kind of guy.
