Never been to Philly but stayed in Atlantic City for a night around 06-07 on a NYC trip and the beach, clubs, females were just If you're going in the summer you should definitely check it out its only like an hour away from Philly.

"the industry" means the nightlife, clubs, bars, etc. There is also bar/restaurant in South Philly called the Industry.

Jims steaks on 4th and South St, or Ishkabibbles diagonally across from it. Steve's steaks also on 16th and Chestnut

We got clubs ( I work at the #1 spot on the weekends), after-hour spots, mad bars, great food.

But yea, if you don't rent a car, only stay downtown..don't go to manyunk or the malls because it'll be too far (45 min for KOP mall) by cab/bus...

For tourism stuff DO check out

Indepedence Hall area (5th and market) to see all the historical sh1t philly has to offer.

After Independence hall walk over to 2nd and market (also called Rittenhouse area) for some more history and/or for some bars. Very popular area for nightlife.

After Rittenhouse, go to Penns Landing which has a bridge right at 2nd and market to walk the "harbor" and to get a cool view of the Ben Franklin Bridge

Walk to South street if you're not tired of walking lol...Stores, shops, bars, Jims/Ishkibibbles for cheesesteaks, Lorenzo's for big ass slices of pizza

Love Park (15th and JFK blvd) for a photo op in front of the Love statue.

Musuems- Academy of natural sciences is pretty dope (stuffed animals and vignettes and sh1t lol) Art Museum for the Rocky statue.

Maybe go to City Hall and go up to the observation deck to get a cool view of the city

I used to be in pinnacle, Palmers, gay ass shampoo on the non gay nights, chrome, I've done parties on the spirit of Philadelphia, plenty of strip clubs, cebu when it was open, rain or dreams or whatever the fukk they call it now. I've been around, there's just no real money in radio or club promotion except at the top.

That's the truth. ONe of the best promoters, Calcutta, still can't leave his day job. Nice extra money, but doesn't pay the bills. And these young promoters want too much for nothing. They want free tables/bottles for trying to bring a handful of people in

Haven't lived in Philly in 6 years but I'm from there. Stay down center city and you won't need a rental. Go out in Old City for a night out. Iskabibbles is the way to go for a cheese steak I would recommend Maxs over them but you would have to make that trip up E ave and that's out the way.

What's funny is my man's been in there often, I don't do clubs much any more, but almost weekly I'm in Drinkers right across the street. the happy hour on Fridays used to go to 10 pm.
