I live here and yeah it's a red state with a bunch of illegals.


Black hoods are on the southside, and some on the westside. Tempe is nice, and it's really affordable out here.

I thought about moving to the southside...didn't see no nice apts

I been peeping the rent prices out there and AZ is VERY doable. You also get a lot more bang for your buck. I seen 2-3 bedroom apts for like $900.

My first Apt was 400 all utilities included but it had roaches

Second was 650

Its very affordable

I plan on staying, all my fam is out here. A lot of people come here from big cities because it's lowkey and a cheap place to live so yeah a lot of folks end up staying. shyt load of cowboys out here on that

but I ain't had any issues with 'em, yet.

There really aren't many, a lot of it is raggedy with a few decent areas.

I've lived here for 16 years, I used to like it here but now it's meh to me. Most places around downtown Phoenix close at 10pm. The suburbs (Scottsdale, Chandler, etc) are boring as shyt. Tempe is cool if you're under 25.

I like it here.
Everything is new / clean. City is pretty well run. Almost everything is legal. Stuff is open late. It's affordable.

Summers are HOT as fukk tho. It's alright if you have a pool though.

Spent a few months out there...low key its a really dope city once you find your niche. Very underrated in terms of food...some amazing Asian spots out there, spots that hold their own vs. places in NY and LA. Also, some of the most beautiful landscapes / sunsets you can imagine.

Scottsdale / Old Towne is cool if you have the right crew. Black people are there, just very spread out and lack density. All the upper / upper-middle class black people seem to know each other and you'll get used to seeing the same faces. A friend got in good w/ some bouncers and football players out there so it was a good ass time.

Edit: Has some bad white chicks too if that's your thing. Just have to find the ones that aren't 80% chance you end up dating out if you're a black male as black women are either themselves or just not out there like that.
