the internet becoming easily available to everyone just allowed for more dumb/fukk shyt...granted you didn’t need to be rich/a genius to own a computer and know how to get online but I still think it limited the internet to a certain “type” or “group” of ppl...once it became easier/less expensive to get online on your phone/mobile device with decent speeds that’s when the internet got more “stupid” for lack of a better choice of word...that being said you definitely had your share of dikkheads back then but even the way they trolled was different/unique compared to the corny/base shyt folks say/do for attention...been online for over 20 years now...crazy

There was an innocence then that was eroded, swiftly and surely, till we get to this place where we are now.

Stop and think back, people were generally much nicer - no rosetint, pure facts. It could be a reflection of the era or how what was originally viewed as a tool to reach out and connect with people across the world was twisted into a way of having people across the world pay attention to you.
