Nope. my boy had his own PC and we would go there and hit up bytches to meet. I didnt get my own computer until 2001. never glued to it except for music during the Napster and kazaa days

Real talk AOL, yahoo profiles and MySpace are a part of the reason I’m in the profession that I’m in today.
I remember in AOL you used to be able to add some styles to your profile page. Change the background color, font, etc... that got me into wanting to learn design and make sites. I use to run a MySpace profile generator site and proxy so you could still login. A lot of schools use to block access and such back then.

You think it had to do with the liking system? I remember Myspace didn't have one. People had to actually comment on your picture if they wanted to show that they liked it.

weird time in life for me, dont remember much outside of D'angelos "GreatdayindaMorning/Booty" automatically would play when I would go to my page and having some weird ass photoshpped shyt as a profile pic. I literally only used it to get at this girl who would eventually become my wife.

That was peak dirtbaggery for me, too. Had a main that I had demoted to side, and didn't bother to tell her because I knew I was out of range for her to check in on.
Me and the bros using MySpace to have women on deck if we didn't get it popping with something else nearby.
Artists being with the shyt on their pages was great, too. I remember Phonte hopping on the Little Brother page to shyt on people demanding that they use 9th to get high profile features (while shytting on his beats), and using the same post to see what was good with a link to the latest Phatty Girls.
This was on a different level of fukkery, but the exclusivity aspect doesn't lend the same nostalgia. But the close rate on clapping cheeks seemed higher.
