Myspace was the greatest social media platform that ever lived. Social media before it become mobile and accessible (2003-2012) was its prime era.
Myspace was a learning platform to teach you how to code, meeting women was easy af and there were actually interactive with you, discovering new music was a goldmine etc.
After Myspace lost to Facebook it was never the same. Myspace gave us the option to customize and be creative. Notice how any social media website DOESNT give you that option besides Old Youtube before it was commercialized by Google. Plus Tom was everybody's friend he gave leverage to free-speech.
Nowadays, every social media website is generic bland and basic.
The golden age of Internet definitely was before smart phones took off.

That and the fact that for a minute you couldn't use Facebook if you didn't have a college email...I didn't get on FB until I went back to school, around a year later or so everyone else started coming in by the floodgates lol. The rest is history...it reminds me of that South Park episode where he bought the amusement park.
