Well .I've owned my Jaguar XF for about 5 years..Only issues that have come up is a battery replacement and 1 of the rotating air vents broke and needed replacment..I won't lie to you the car isn't my daily driver.I've put about 17,000 miles on it since ownership..Some of the main issues people have with these vehicles is failing waterpumps and timing chain problems since they share the same parts.Infotainment system is also quirky as hell, but my system has never crashed..My car hasn't needed any of these things repaired..Most of these guys posting in here have never owned a Jaguar or RangerRover so take their opinion with a grain of salt. You can goto any Jaguar or RangeRover forum and the guys there will give you all the honest information you'll need about these vehicles..If your looking to buy one be leary of how expensive maintenance will be to own..Maintenance cost usaually are double what you pay on other vehicles..Oil change -$250.00..Alignment $200.00.Battery $200.00.. Brake job $2000.00.. $200.00 Warning light diagnostic fee...etc

Brolic... Alcoholics
I got a 2011 L322 (this is my second L322 I had a 2008 previously) . Expensive. I had to replace the front air suspension struts and the air compressor in the rear. Close to 4k in total. In my 8 years of Ownership it hasn't left me stranded. Yea its quiet. No i haven't been pulled over but I'm more of a cruising type of driver than an aggressive one. I would say no to turn heads with women because in NY its fairly common to see a rover especially in the hood and an older one at that.

in summary, not for the faint of heart

Thanks. Been thinking about surprising my wife with an Evoque for her birthday this year.

Thanks. I was interested in them just because I wanted an suv and saw that they were getting high reviews when they came out. I am a member of one of the forums but haven't looked at it for awhile.

Used to work at Land Rover right outta high school.

You find out real quick who has money and who stuntin when them repair costs hit :mjlol:

Had a guy one time whose left front air suspension went out, he got it fixed, then 2 weeks later the right front went out but buddy paid it like it was nothing :lolbron:

However, I saw a lot of people whips sitting for days or weeks until they scrounged up the money to pick them up :skip:
That was my breh :mjlol:

His air suspension kept going out :mjlol:

Pull up to work and his Rover is sitting low and bouncing :mjlol:

He is the one who scared me off of Rovers cause of the hell he went through. All I wanted was a cocaine white Rover with white rims. But my nikka had so many issues with his. It was in the shop all the damn time

You better off getting a G Wagon, GL550, GL63 AMG, or a Jeep and taking all the doors and top off in the summer. But if you ugly broads no checking.

I'd mention the Jaguar SVR, decent looking truck

Range Rovers are THE WOAT when it comes to maintenance. :mjlol:

I don't understand why nikkas so infatuated with that truck. It doesn't look that luxurious, the inside doesn't look that luxurious, it's just POS all around:mjlol:
Word. Go with the Mercedes GLE. That’s a real head turner or BMW X6... Porsche too
