Ran the Woodrow Wilson bridge this morning. Weather is getting better to run more outside.

Almost peak running season :ahh:

I got 8 on my plate for tomorrow with some light rain, low 50’s.

No runs the past 2 weeks due to travel

Needed to finally grab some new shoes last pair had at least 300 miles on em and they were done!

Came down to the Pegasus and the Vomeros

Pegasus were much easier on the eyes....but I went with the Vomeros which are fukking hideous but they felt so good on feet

I didn’t run for a month cause I was in Somalia and then Saudi Arabia for Hajj. I’m getting my wind back.

I got new Brooks running shoes

Copped these back in march, they were on sale and halfway fly.

wayyy better than expected

the comfort and traction are really good

Just started running this month. So far I've been able to do twice a week and will probably get to three times by the end of the month. The post run euphoria is an amazing feeling and well worth the effort. :blessed:

It gets easier and easier if you stick with it. Watching your body progress is a beautiful feeling.

I am running my second 5k and trying to knock it out under 20 minutes come this Sunday. I’m coming off a half marathon (ran three these past 6 months) and spent these last 4-5 weeks pivoting to speed training however I wish I could’ve had a few more weeks to squeeze out some more speed in these legs.

Copped some more Saucony super shoes for the race too. Y’all wish me luck!
