Stopped listening a couple of months before Grantland folded. It was fun but at the end of the day it didn't bring much to the table imo. And Shoemaker is probably the most clueless wrestling "historian" ever, the amount of shyt he gets wrong or confused is kinda staggering. And that would be fine and all if Rosenberg or whoever he's doing the podcast with wouldn't treat him like some sort of eminence that really knows his shyt. If dude was just a fan I'd be fine with it but after months of him being THE go to guy on the pod and him coming up with retarded ideas, clueless predictions and getting facts wrong I had to stop. Dude is waaay worse than Wade Keller.

Kinda bummed Simmons didn't find another guy to in charge of wrestling at The Ringer. There's a bunch of people more equipped to be the "knowledgeable fan that can connect with the casuals". Hell, even in thecoli we have people like @Honga Ciganesta or @Don Rhymus that could do a better job than the Masked Man :manny:
I missed a lot of wrestling and even I found myself constantly just staring in amazement at some of the basic ass stuff that they'd get wrong on the show. Shoemaker drove me crazy with that because like you said they present him as some all-knowing wrestling historian. I gave up on the show a long time ago.

Once Grantland was taken off youtube (And folded soon after), I haven't bothered to track them down.

I liked some of their interviews with special guest, but there is rarely ever any true insight on the product, and they are FAR too apologist towards the WWE.

Rosenberg is annoying, always trying to get his unfunny shyt over.
Shoemaker seems like he's autistic or something.
Greg barely getting a word in makes me uncomfortable. He's just another black sidekick.
