1.A heathen includes all nations outside of Israel. This includes the lost children of Israel who don't know who they are, or reject the good news.
2.He meant no man, including himself, is good compared to God alone.
3. He also told that woman to sin no more.

Orthodox Judaism rejects the messiah, many are still looking for a political figure to come in the future. Most israelites place faith in the messiah (Christ) and the inevitable earthly return. That alone places a distinction between the two groups.
I think it looks that way when you see black folk studying the Torah and Old Testament when many modern day "christians" threw the OT and apocrypha away.
