Damn, always find stuff like this interesting. Being in a area that is the subject of national controversey (ie: OU after the SAE incident)
The entire country hated Penn State at the time. What was the general opinion of the whole ordeal? Were people defending Sandusky/Paterno?
i posted on HFboards and i got mod warned..
here's what happened.. a mod was bytching and complaining because the other team won because of pure luck and not because they were better. he was whining like a 5 year old mad little bytch who just got her ice cream taking away for being a brat.
all i basically said was that how this poster became a mod with a tantrum like that. 5 mins later, i got an infraction for flaming and abusing a mod.
and my post got deleted.

They never try to compare the NHL to the MLS or MLB, they skip right to the NBA, we know why that is though

the mods there are worse than realgm mods, and i thought they were pretty bad. Actually, the mods on realgm are very knowledgable, they have very small patience for trolls and one liner posts.
the mods on hfboards are like 15 year old kids..or pretend to be. I just lurk now.

The NHL and NBA seem to be complete opposites in many ways, but especially demographically & culturally.
There's always been a sketchy racist vibe around the sport of Hockey. Its unbelievable.It's an inferiority complex.

A friend dragged me to a Flyers game... I felt like I was in Finland or some northern KKK convention (even though Philly is a black-majority city).
The funny thing is hockey isn't even popular with rednecks/southerners. So it's basically the suburban cacs from the north.
I've been to a Flyers game before. It was pretty chill. Wayne Simmonds (black Hockey player for the Flyers) got the GW goal that night and everyone was chanting his name on the way outThere is definitely a LOT of White females who watch Hockey (and Baseball as well) just to get their lily white male athlete fix. And of course White guys who watch because they want to see a sport they dominate

Yeah, same reason I don't post. I think I posted a gif of Cam saying "You Mad" to someone and got an infraction and warning about being banned. When I asked why, they said cause I posted a gif. I then sent him a message with multiple threads with gifs.... and he didn't reply. Pu$$y. If they sense you a nikka on there from your posting style, they gonna send you all types of warnings and bans. Great informative site though.
Realgm ain't any better I got banned for my Andrea bustnani nickname by some mod named yogi Stewart
