Went to Leafs/Marlies games this year and that's EXACTLY how I felt.
Thing is that a lot of these CACs are from Canada. The NHL hogs all the coverage up there yet they still have such a weird obsession with the NBAThey're jealous I'm sure. Every night the main highlights on espn are NBA games. The espn main page focus is again the NBA. They're mad that the NBA is stealing what they feel should be their spotlight especially by those black people. You just gotta hit them with a

at Sandusky. A lot of PSUers we're defending Paterno since technically he did report Sandusky to the Penn State police. My feeling was that this showed that Paterno at his old age was just not fit to understand the severity of the situation needed immediate police action. Also, that he had too much power at the school, President back in 04 asked him to resign and Paterno simply kicked him out. If somebody actually stood up to Paterno and said to handle the Sandusky with kicking off school premise and arrest, it could've been avoided.

I post on hfboards occasionally, I mostly lurk though because the hockey/nhl news are up to date.

I even went to a hfboards habs meeting last october, I had nothing to do that night. It was a game against the Philadelphia Flyers, at Philly, Habs were down 0-3 after 2 periods, but came back to win 4-3 in the shootout. Saturday October 11 2014. I came late to the HF meeting, I walked in the bar just before the 3rd period, I started the Habs comeback and the HF habs crowd cheered me on
It was in station des sports, centre ville ouest, near metro atwater in Montreal. I expected to see HF dudes as a majority cac crowd, quiet hipster type of cacs, turned out i was right, but I saw some arabs/armenians, and even a mulatto in there, All of the habs posters on hfboards were chill as fukk and welcoming too. No cacs caccin or
behaviour. Guys were nice and well-behaved. We talked habs hockey all together, in a friendly way, and an italian dude talked life, economics and books with me, and gave me some stock tips 
We still talk from time to time, exchanging pdf books on hfboards every now and then.

Damn near half the posts are from American hockey fans crying and complaining about how ESPN doesn't respect hockey and how NFL and NBA are "forced" down their throats. It gets annoying seeing it over and over again.

RealGM is way or was ( I pretty much never go there now) over the top with how they police the board. How in the name of shyt are you supposed to talk sports without busting jokes and shyt talking.
There's some really good smart posters there but its just way too corny and uptight to be enjoyable for me

The Habs section is the only place I visit on that site, the rest of the board is garbage.

I find it's the American hockey fans that do most of the crying and complaing about ESPN and the NBA. The Canadians fans are usually fed up with all the ESPN threads, they just wanna talk hockey.

I remember one time I was reading the Celtics thread on the Boston Bruins board. This was a few years back when they had Garnett, Allen, Pierce, Rondo, etc. Almost all the posts were from racist CACs reminiscing about McHale, Ainge, and Bird and bashing today's NBA players for being "arrogant thugs"

I remember about 10-15 years ago, fans at a Chicoutimi QMJHL game were doing the tomohawk chop at Ted Nolan and calling one of his black players a monkey. Nothing but trailer trash go to junior games in Quebec.
