1) Don't stop having babies or you one day find that your people no longer exist.

2) Don't turn your back on your own people and reduce your numbers by infighting like Native tribes did in fighting with the cacs against the Aztecs and Mayans. The majority of the soldiers that attacked the Aztec empire were Natives themselves. Natives who were consumed by tribal nonsense and bitterness. If the Native tribesmen had stood with the Aztecs, the Spanaird army would not have had the numbers to overcome them. But alas..

Yeah even though the Natives lost and are damn near extinct I always admired the way they went out fighting.

Sometimes I sit back and think about the trans-atlantic slave trade and it's like damn...how did so many people get enslaved without some type of major war being lost or some shyt....like, how does something like that even go down. Those Africans did their own people dirty as fukk.
Maybe cacs learned some lessons first.

They did. But they also allowed many to be freemen in their tribes. A lot of these tribes are re nigging on previous agreements and shytting on descendants of the freeman tribes by kicking them out of the nation. Complete bullshyt but oh well.

A lot of those tribes have been replaced with cacs. The real indigenous people don't exist anymore.

As brutal as the imperialism was, the exposure to european diseases is what really killed a lot of them. 95% actually. Their immune system never stood a chance because it was no where near as strong as the europeans who lived in dense areas, with domesticated animals and traveled regularly to other countries/towns since everything was much closer to each other.

The biggest thing I learned is that separation will never work and you can't hold onto the past forever as fukked up the situation was towards the indians. :ehh:

The Indian reservations are terrible, poverty is rampant, crime is high and the sexual assaults are 4 times the national average. Humans evolved from primates and primates are social creatures so it's only inevitable that humans need constant healthy social interaction to maintain good health. They can't get that self segregating themselves. They are gonna cut themselves off from innovation, they won't be exposed to new cultures, they will fall behind technologically and they will be isolated from mainstream culture in a bad way. It's the same reason why most fundamentalist religious groups fail/fall apart because self segregation is never socially healthy. Nothing good ever comes when you decide "bringing people together" is the antithesis of what you stand for.
