impressive stuff, u really attended ur biology lesson even though u a bit rough on the sides (highlighted), when you feel sick its ur body trying to get rid of the invading pathogen by raising ur temperature and recruiting immune cells at the site of infection (inflammatory response, see also chemokines). all pathogens have different surface protein and these are the proteins (antigens)that activate the production of antibodies specific to that pathogen by immune cells called B cells. during this whole process, because many B cells are produced during a process called antigen presentation, some of them become memory cells and they keep all the information about said pathogen incase u get re-infected..when u do then antibodies will be produced faster than the first time u were infected etc. in some cases other adaptive immune cells such as T cells, NK cells are recruited to fight off the infection etc.

anyway depending on whats affecting you, allergy, virus, bacteria etc different cells are involved (innate immune cells) at first before before antibodies are produced.im typing on my phone so the moral of the story is get urself an umbrella coz those old women knew what they were talking about and i trust them
