the heat is bearable...once moving. usually wear a mesh jacket, but sometimes i wear my mesh dirt bike jersey. it has no impact protection, but at least some abrasion coverage.

also the unpredictable rain is annoying. been like 50% chance for the past two weeks. wet roads are always a problem. but wet road grime, car guts, and who knows what else else spraying up. nah

its your body dawg :hubie:

salute to folks who ride atgatt.

for me i always wear helmet, gloves, riding jeans, footwear. jacket 90% of the time and abrasion jersey the other 10%. never wear jersey on hwy, only short ride to lunch. pavement is hotter than the sun.

I go with the gun policy; better to have one and not need it; then need it and not have it.

I've done my fair share of crashing. All it took me was one time to never make that mistake again. just saying.

i agree with all of this.

oddly enough my worst accident wasn't even on a moving bike. one time i forgot to put my kickstand down when getting off the bike. ankle and foot took the brunt. 🤕

word! i love riding, but my life and keeping skin on my body is non-negotiable. imo the less you have to worry in terms of gear, the better you can focus on a safe enjoyable ride.

Can y'all recommend a battery charger and maintainer and some pig tails? Battery don't have enough juice to start the bike.

Are these two good enough?

i got this,

you can actually install the extra wires into your battery terminal permanently so that its just plug and play whenever you need to tend the battery makes it very user friendly.

Instead of using the clamps each time.

It doesn't look like it comes with those wire mod add ons.
You can permanantly install this on your battery terminal and then all you gotta do is plug it in to your tendor when you need to keep it charged. Instead of have to remove your seat or the battery or anything else each time. Super convenient. Just Velcro it to the side to keep it secure.

Ended up going with noco genius 2 and a separate pigtail. Works good.

I ended up buying a portable air compressor too. Worked good on my motorcycle and truck. This should be a must for motorcycle riders because I always hear how dudes be riding around on low psi
