That ZZR is clean. I think that would be a good 1st bike for the fact that it's not a supersport. It's going to quicker than what you are used to but just be careful breh.

Yea that bike is a lil much (100RWHP). But the way that bike is, as long as you don't rev past ~9000 it will go like a 250-500. Its fast but you have to commit to engage in fukkery (whereas something like a ZX10R will spit you off just cause). Ergonomics are OK too.

Yeah it has a little zip...I'm used to driving manual cars so stop and go factor isn't difficult for me. I'm excited to start riding and getting experience though.

Update:
-took the MSF course 2 weeks ago (passed road test)
-got license last week + gear

Went on my first ride today... it was embarrassing as shyt brehs nikkas on the block givin me the I probably stalled my engine in at least 3 intersections when the light turned green from red. letting the clutch out too fast and shyt. Got a chance to do some leaning on open road in 3rd gear. was a little nervous but after a few seconds. I see why nikkas enjoy this shyt so much now, I just need more pratice

Yeah man..take it out to a parking lot and practice stop and go and where the friction zone is on the clutch. Sometimes I walk it a bit before I begin to let off the clutch so I know I shouldn't stall out.

*subs* want to get a bike later this year if possible. Thought about a 250R but people were saying they aren't that good if you are bigger (6'1 ~250) or do a lot of highway traveling. Any opinion about this?

There was a cat in my MSF course who was 6'2 that had a CBR250R at home as well and had no problems with it in terms of his size. If you're gonna be doing a lot of highway travelling though, then 250R is probably not your bike. It's more of a beginner ride for 1st year to get you basics down or commute around the city type bike. Mine is a 2011 and the top speed is about 80-85mph MAYBE 90 if you can get your head out of the way. If you're talking about the smaller 2 or 3 lane parkways then you'd be ok. If you're talking I-95 or I-495 capital beltway (dc area) then hell na I would never do that shyt with this bike. The way those 18 wheelers could probably blow you around on a big interstate would be

Dont listen to them. 250s are great learning bikes and they have like a 350lb load capacity.

I went and looked at a Ducati Diaval and a Ducati Panigale. Pictures don't do those motorcycles justice. The Diaval is more comfortable than I thought it would be. The only problem is that I will never buy a new one, it would have to be a used bike.

This is exactly what I'm concerned about. I'll be back in Miami when I get my bike (highways to get everywhere) so I worry about running up and down 826/836/turnpike/I95 with a 250R. What you think about a 500R if I can find one? or 650R?

was easier than I expected. I took the MSF course and was riding in no time. Just take your time you'll be good.
After riding my friends GSXR 1000, my next bike will be a sports bike and most likely a 1000. Keep the shiny side
up and the rubber side down!

One of the dealerships here in Birmingham is having a Rider's weekend. They had the Suzuki Truck out today thru Sunday and if you have a Motorcycle Endorsement on your license you can test ride any Suzuki that's out there.
