You are your ancestors and their experience is what they currently label ignorantly as "Junk DNA" via the blood that flows in your veins. Ignorance is expensive as it manifests in these trends which is why the wise choose to be in the world but not of it by doing the requisite work in question to detach from what is corrosive and heal themselves.

There really is so much more to all of this as this thread barely scratches the surface of something that is deep as the ocean and gets to the heart of the human condition but it really is so demonic, friends, once you've seen behind the curtain a few times and peeped the script as well as the implications as to the true nature of this realm as society is one big coping mechanism hence no measure of health to be well adjusted to what is profoundly sick.

Imo. Never really satisfied. So if ever happy. It's for a short amount of time.

Some situations you unfortunately can't just walk away from. Thing is a true hardcore narcissist will pit everybody around you against you. They will try and often times succeed in isolating people from the rest of the world.

YEP! My mom tried it and I had to air her out.

She literally said “Can’t you just keep up pretenses so no one knows what is going on between us?” While she acting like a damn victim when she was the one causing havoc.

It all came to a head last summer.
My family finally witnessed the BS and one of my cousins actually called her out on my behalf. My mother is scared and avoiding her now and called her a bytch.

Now she’s avoiding all family gatherings because the veil has been lifted.

I feel vindicated for real.

It’s called TRIANGULATION.

Reeeeeeeal psycho shyt. Almost turned my family against me until more of them saw what was going on.

Its a really huge topic and one many don't wish to recognize or realize but the truth is if one or both of your parents are narcissistic then it was over before it began unless you make that change and disconnect from their presence.

Its so mean and wicked really but then this world is created by the type and thus they thrive which is exactly what MJ meant when he said They Don't Really Care About Us as its all a facade, an image to assist in draining your energetics. That is who is in charge of this realm and why its no measure of mental health to be well adjusted to socially sanctioned sickness.

Those who are Bright Souls and shine inside are often taken for a ride until they wise up and read between the lines as its such a crazy thing thats so hard to speak due to continual gaslighting on as the Dark Souls are pros at image building/seeming perfect in anothers eyes. Social media on the whole is just a digital presentation of this pathology.

I'll say it again, if you've got these kind of people in your life - Walk away. Don't say a thing, don't reason or explain because they'll never change as they are incapable of introspection on a fundamental level as there is nothing but a vacuum within that justifies its existence by feeding.

They are energetic vampires for sure and if you're raised in the wave like @surf says then its pretty much over before it begins as you're the parent to two overgrown children who put their needs first and yours last since you stepped into this realm. You exist solely to serve them and their needs in the moment, F the rest of what you said is their mode of operation.

The craziest thing about that type of situation is disconnecting as they'll guilt trip and manipulate you to the abyss and back as they need feeding. Its a wild situation and a really deep topic as so many are in the grip of these relationships that can only be defined as toxic.

Not to mention many will go out and repeat the same vibration with others due to its sense of familiarness, even though they hate it. Self knowledge is the key to unlock the mind made prison. The first step is seeing it as it is because only then can you liberate yourself from their grip by making better decisions.

Most of the time from my experience. Unless they get evaluated and accept the evaluation. Nope. They think everyone else is the problem most of the time.

In the end that was what angered me the most. I don't like airing people out. Just the way we were raised from my father, a man's man. Person in question knew this and used it to their advantage. But you got to get over that and do what you have to do to be healthy.

My mom called me over the weekend and literally within the first 3min of the call slipped in something slick and I finally caught her right as she did it and called her on it in the moment. Somehow it devolved into how God knows her heart and I make it seem like she’s the worst parent in the world.

I was like

It was just a reminder that it’s literally how her brain is wired. She just has to say whatever the hell is on her mind with no consideration for how it makes someone else feels until they call her on it. When I mimic her behavior it stings her and she gets it, but that’s the only way to get through to her. And then it all just washes away anyway.

Part of me is literally numb because of her BS.

I recognize she has her own traumas that were never dealt with because she probably didn’t have the tools and emotional space/vulnerability to release it (which is the case for many of our elders) but at some point you have to choose yourself. This is how generational curses develop.

For the record, threads like this are why this place is great. For all the BS we joke about, these serious topics aren’t discussed in most people’s day-to-day life. We all need an outlet.

Honoring and emulating your parents no matter how they treated you is like a mainstay of black culture for some reason. You are considered "weird" "rude" "ungrateful" "acting white" and whatever else if you dare speak out about your family in any way.

And of course the whole "family business is private" ethos that enables abusers and narcissists to silence their victims, while the victims feels an obligation to keep the abuse secret in order to respect their family (and avoid the rampage of their narcissist).

We need to speak more about our families and our parents.

So tired of seeing generation after generation, the black community is producing the most emotionally and mentally unstable youth out of them all. Appearing on the most bizzare headlines of trivial crimes. And the people responsible of raising these kids with their cruel, outdated, archaic, narrow-minded and self centered methods are acting perfect and oblivious to why these children are so prone to anger and outrage. There is a reason I call English Devilish because it truly is. Not for nothing did the natives spit that its with forked tongues these pale faces offered them smallpox laced blankets. Its all frequency, vibration, resonance and in that respect Devilish is backwards for reasons far to complex to go into in this topic but which anyone who speaks another tongue will attest. There are many forms of parasite in this realm.
