I use to sometimes but I don't anymore because I don't want to show all my cards to any potential threat that may be sizing ya boy up. The I would only really open carry is if I'm on my r1 or some shyt where it would be a hassle to get it from a concealed carry position. No one got time to be fumbling around in a life n death situation

Yeah somebody could try you first but also it could stop somebody from trying you since they already nervous cuz they see you with a gun

I've done it because I've been in areas where it's prevalent. For instance when I go hunting I rock the side arm on the hip. When I'm going and coming from the hunting ground I usually stop for gas and a sandwich or drink, I just keep it on the hip and it's not a big deal because everyone knows this is a hunting area, plus the way I'm dressed (boots, tan/brown pants, jacket, camo shirt)most people correctly assume I'm hunting .

Now in other areas people just aren't comfortable seeing an open gun like that. I'm black, I'd get so many 911 calls about being armed it would only be a matter of time before I'm dead.

Thats the only thing im worried about is if the police pull up guns blazing. White folks already calling the police on us for everything we do as it is

The open carry videos of people arguing with cops actually disgust me..not even the cops..it’s the losers who seem to get the license just so they can make YouTube videos of them being “harassed” by cops

I think it's great because it capture how police treat citizens.

I understand a cop seeing someone with a gun and wanting to check them out. I understand them being semi cautious/aggressive when confronting anyone with a gun.

However the lack of respect from police towards black citizens is a severe problem. The lady cop in the 2nd video played it perfectly, however the young boy is a perfect example of why this right must be exercised

The cop seemed pretty calm though, and we didn’t really see how it started ...and this is all while the dude is calling him a dikkhead and bytch, and all this bullshyt about “every cop knows I carry in this hood” like he’s some sort of kingpin

shyt is so unnecessary...it goes both ways

The girl just didn’t want smoke if we bein real

I kinda agree, I would never open carry because I've dealt with enough police harassment just growing up being black in the hood. I honestly think I'd end up getting shot to death by the police if I tried to.

The police haven't earned the respect of the community. And honestly he can walk around like he's a kingpin bruh because he's a citizen with rights. That's exactly how white people act in their communities and they talk to the police as subordinates.

We are american citizenship, we should feel like Kings. And that cop was out of line. Dude called it right, prolly some dude who used to get bullied and now he in the street flexing and running down on nikkas like he a bad ass. He needed to get checked, he's a public servant.

That whole video was cringeworthy.

The people that run their mouth the most really don't have anything to say.

He didn't even check the guy. He almost did at the end when he was like "mam you're very respectful" **asks politely in female voice** do you have an id? **switches back to his normal voice and politely answers** "yes I do, then this dikkhead **uses aggressive mocking tone** " show me your id, give me your id"

Then he asks the cop to explain his behavior. Had he done that from the very beginning rather than cussing and repeatedly calling him a dikkhead, he probably could've made that cop apologize on video then he would have had an ultimate win.

Now had this guy had his head beaten in, I'd have to watch the video and say ":manny: yea that guy is a fukking idiot, but that's his right to be one, the cops didn't have to do him like that :manny:"

I loved it. As someone who has suffered police harassment I understand the frustration he's going through.

I'm more worried about policing the police rather than policing how black men legally express themselves.

#MeToo

I don't hold a police officers life above anybody elses. They have the exact same problem regular citizens have which are poor conflict resolution skills.

It only takes one person to act a fool, I saw 2 in the video. He needs to step up his conflict resolution skills so he can really ether these police if he's gonna be uploading videos.

He straight up asked him to explain his behavior then the dude was like "I can't hear you..." and he didn't press him! I would have said "oh you can hear everything else but when I ask you to explain your behavior now you can't hear me? What would your supervisor say about your behavior? What about the chief? What about your union? "

Dude would've gave me a formal apology I camera or at least admit he came at me wrong.
