Eh, I beg to differ as the cats that do open carry, at least in MY travels are drug dealers or just wild dudes in general. It's pretty effective if you walk in a corner store, and a nikka got a big ass nine out for everyone to see. You kinda figure out quickly that's not the guy you want to fukk with.

I've been binge watching videos on my 12hr shift and was curious to the reactions black folks get when they carry.
I can't wait to do it once i get licensed and see people's actions.

So how does that make open carry dumb. If you holstered up you ain't gonna get your shyt off in the first place in the scenario you are proposing.

The odds are more likely that a nikka will try to take your shyt, more than you showing that you have a weapon preventing some would be attack, or your life being saved by it taking 1 second less to draw your weapon.

If your intentions are to get money, or cigarettes or whatever you're running up in the corner store for, the last thing you're trying to do is get in a gun fight. As a criminal you'd do the smart thing, wait for them to check out and drive off.
Maybe if you're the only one openly carrying. I went to a gun show and when I left and went to the gas station right out side the gun show, where everyone was filling up (rural area), needless to say everyone had their gun on their hip. only a person with a death wish would've tried anything
