Playing destiny and even doe i.got too level 7 in about 2 hours it was all luck and riding my team mates for those last 2 levels :flabbynsick:
Even doe my teammates were levels higher my guns were trash so either way my kills weren't shyt.

I know everyone wants to seem like their great in every game but I'm trash when it comes to shooting mechanics.
I'm slow and trying aim at the head I end up shooting shoulders or chest :flabbynsick:

I play cod a lot, but desnity is different. Play on a low sens in this game ( look cam) no more than five. Look at that shytty ass map. The brighter the red the closer you are to being dead. PLAY WITH FRIENDS. When you aim move left and right don't move the camera stick it whatever just move your body left And right. Once that cod drop get you some kontrol freeks. Only ten bucks and they help your aim. You can buy a scruf controller like the pros

keep practicing and try to find your 'role'. if you don't have the best aim, look for other ways to help your team/squad

Practice, practice, practice. Don't fret if you find yourself getting killed a lot, or at the bottom of the stats. Abuse the fukk out of melee attacks in a close quarter shoot out, and most importantly.... don't go out by yourself and get murked left and right... it's best if you stick with someone or a group of people. In Destiny's case, save your Super until you see at least two or more enemies within the same proximity then use it on them.

I finally managed to eek out a victory while being #1 on the squad, though Destiny's bizarre looting awards gave me nothing for it. That's a long way from when I started Destiny when I was always at the bottom of the stat list.

Drop your sensitivity down until you get better at reacting and aiming/shooting. Practice on the easier enemies to kill. Aim for the weak spots always.

Once you're good at sensitivity 1/2, try 3/4 and see if you can still keep up. I think 4 is an ideal sensitivity to play Destiny on, fast enough to turn on nikkas in Crucible, slow enough to handle any mobs in PVE. Sensitivity is mostly for you to find a level of comfort with aiming and movement. Find what works for you, although I will say in PVP you'll want to be able to turn around quick, so a 1 or 2 sensitivity might disadvantage you.

Obviously take cover when getting shot, crouching takes you off radar. Play smart. If you can't aim well then try and use your positioning to give yourself an advantage. It's always easier to shoot down on an enemy from a roof than it is to shoot at an enemy on higher ground. Positioning is the most important aspect of shooters IMO. If you just stand in the middle of shyt you're gonna die. Try and post up around places with a few spots for cover.

Melee everybody close to you, especially if your clip runs out. Get into the habit of melee'ing after you hit someone with your shotty for an almost always automatic kill. Use grenades to flush out enemies in cover, or help clear those waiting around corners. Don't chase in PVP because nikkas will wait for you around the corner with that shotty ready to ring off.

Also experiment with scopes on weapons that have upgrades. Sometimes people enjoy iron sights, others prefer more traditional holographic scopes. Aiming down sight is a big part of medium to long range shooting, so having a good scope is always advantageous. Don't zoom in unless you've found your target, you'll just be covering up your radar which is your best friend, plus your sensitivity in scope is usually slower..

End of the day though, just practice and find what kind of weapons you're better with. I'm an aggressive player so I like guns that hit hard or fast. Shotguns and AR's. On bigger maps, I'll run Pulse rifles and Sniper for range, but you want to ensure you can defend yourself in all types of battles(close quarters, mid, long range). Keep playing and you'll eventually pick up general shooter knowledge through opponents.

Use audio to locate opponents you can't see, your sens doesn't have to be too low because you have aim assist on consoles, and play the maps eventually you'll figure out the patterns and routes people take.

Practice makes perfect. :yeshrug:

Learn the maps. Once you learn the maps, you'll start to put together the required loadout that work best for you & that particular map. The only maps I consistently leave positive on are the moon & 1 of the mars maps :mjcry:

i honestly recommend you dont fiddle with sensitivity at all... that should be reserved for advanced players.. u need to master sensitivity 3 first...

The biggest thing I can tell you is stand back... observe your environment and dont rush towards enemies...

Always try and have ur back covered in PVP... aiming will come naturally if you really are commited to playing but if you dont play strategically ull never get good...

Its crazy playing fps' at first but the learning curve is quick... you will get better... you just need to focus on PVE kill mobs...

use an auto rifle... and dont worry about headshots just yet... shoot for the chest and once u get guns with better stability... u can move up to the head...

Big thing is dont give up cause you suck... destiny and halo are not games like Madden or Cod.. where some dudes are just completely out of this world and ull neve compete... it is possible to catch up and be a above average player
