Go to your career center and talk with an advisor. Let them give you tips about the searching process and have them do a mock interview so you don't go in green not knowing what to say. Then go to your computer science department head and ask for help in finding an internship. They usually have a list of past employers. They may may even have contacts within some companies.

This and @Illuminatos don't think it's over. In this world, it's all about who you know. A breh in my department got an internship at a reputable company purely because of this girl he was seeing (her parents had connections).
I'm sure there is a breh out there who thought he had that spot locked up; shame he'll never know why he didn't get it. This happens all the time, but, unfortunately, good connections aren't always that easy to make.

From what I seen from my students this year, internships start becoming available in October. Start looking around then, especially if you're interested in a highly competitive one. Most listings will be out around the end of December early January.

I was in the same boat as you until like last week breh. I applied to over 20 companies and only two interviews ( One at a major bank and one at a smaller company). I got an offer from the smaller one tho.
My advice is have projects on your resume. More so than my GPA and any clubs I was in companies always asked me about projects ive built. Make literally anything, like download android studio and make an app, or make a web program, literally anything you can point to and say you made.
Actually dont feel too bad about your GPA as well. My interviewers told me to my face that they dont recruit people with too high a gpa since they tend to be know-it-all a$$holes. ( im at a 3.3 myself).
