I will try my best to put this into words, as this is one of the recurring dreams I can remember that I've had THROUGHOUT my life. As in, since I was a kid and until more recently a year and a half or so ago. (I'm 20)

So the dream goes like - I am trapped under something. I am seeing things from my POV, and I'm trapped under some sort of invisible weight and I can barely move. I am not sure what it is but I can determine that it is "invisible" because I could look up kinda, and it was open.

Now next to me, is this very strange looking creature that is trapped with me as well. It is like some sort of badger/cockroach/rat type of creature. It didn't look strange within the dream even though I would imagine it to look completely terrifying in real life. The thing squirms helplessly as it looks at me, and in a weird way I get the feeling that I may look like that too, in this dream. I'm not sure about this tho. Maybe I just feel as helpless and since I can't see myself I am projecting.

And then like clockwork, the dream always end like this - the creature stops squirming for a second and I can sense fear (or somthing similar) as it looks up, and I can suddenly look up clearly too, and the entire "place" we are in, which is best described as some sort of valley or a ditch, LIGHTS up. I am talking just blinding white light, as it consumes everything around us ... and you can FEEL something much more magnificent and greater than you opening itself above you - like an angel spreading its wings. It is formless, but you can see an epicenter from which the blinding white light emanates, and for a second you just feel so small and insignificant. It is an insane feeling of awe, fear, admiration, faith, dread and more emotions all rolled up into one. My heart races everytime this part happens and I wake up shortly after drenched in sweat.

Well :manny: Why are you stand offish? Is it natural or something traumatic happened?

I guess it's just natural... Nothing traumatic happened to me that I know of... My mom told me when I was born I was sick and had to be in an incubator for like a week.

In the middle of nowhere, falling into a big black ocean, straight to the bottom.

Hmmmmm I have two twin aunts that were born sick and had to be kept in an incubator for a week or two also. Both are very stand offish to outsiders.....

Wonder is there a connection between the two...

i've been having weird dreams lately. all involving places i've been and people i know with slight alterations. i want to learn how to lucid dream. i never realize i'm dreaming until i wake up.

I had this too ... shyt was scary as fukk.

Good long read about this:

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxieties about your appearance and how others perceive you. Your teeth help to convey an image of attractiveness and play an important role in the game of flirtation, whether it is flashing those pearly white, kissing or necking. Thus, such dreams may stem from a fear of rejection, sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. To support this notion, a dream research found that women in menopause report to have frequent dreams about teeth. This points to teeth dreams as being related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine. Teeth are an important feature to your attractiveness and how you are presented to others. Caring about how you look is natural and healthy.

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dreams may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself in some situation. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxieties. Perhaps you feel that you are unprepared for the task at hand. However, you will find that your worries are unfounded in most cases. Sometimes what plays out in your mind is far worse than what is reality.

Teeth are used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth symbolize power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream may be an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the importance of what you have to say.

Traditionally, it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent malnutrition or poor diet. This notion may still be applicable to some dreamers.

Other Perspectives

A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicates that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks, rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.

Many cultures, including the Hispanic and Greek cultures, believe that when you dream about loose, rotten, falling, or missing teeth, then it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death.

According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if you are telling lies.

It has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money.

I had one of those sleep paralysis things : I was dreaming I was a super-hero :win: and the enemies would kill me but I'd just resurrect and killed them :pacspit: until one killed me...and I couldn't wake up :merchant: So I'm lying in my bed and the weirdest is that I kind of knew it was only a dream, I could even hear my mother in the room next door, still was scared as fukk to open my eyes and maybe realize I was REALLY dead. shyt was a trip.

On a side note, I know that we dream all the time and whatnot, but I hardly remember ANY of my dreams, not when I wake up, not after, never. How is that? The last dream I remember was about this girl I was trying to get at for the longest and I had this dream where I just saw her step into another guy's car, and that's it. Dream lasted 10 sec :what: That was about 2 months ago, and before the only one I remember is the sleep paralysis one, and that was at least 15 years ago :yeshrug:

I remember reading a yahoo article about dreams and in order to remember and keep your dream going is to not open your eyes when you awake from your dream, remain in the same position and fall back to sleep and the dream will continue....I tried it once it lasted for 3 more seconds then I woke up again.

I want to learn how to lucid dream though.

1:
This was the night of the day we went to check out the new house for the first time:
I was standing behind the doorway peeping into the living room of the new house. On the couch was a fukking LIVING SKELETON and a woman. Both sitting there casually talking. The skeleton then spots me, stands up walks towards me, picks me up by the neck with two hands and starts choking the shyt out of me. That's all i remember.

2:
Another one, i was in a diner or something and i see my teacher, she was sitting down and i saw the back of her head. She was wearing a hat, i walk up from behind and snatch the hat and another one was under it. I snatch that one, another one is there, take a few more then i realize this bytch has an endless amount of hats on.

3:

I was about 10 and had been checking out some of my brothers porn stash...
I dreamed i was eating some p*ssy then fukking. It was so real i could feel it happening. When i woke up i had to think for a few seconds if it really happened or not.

Used to dream about flying a lot. Those are fun dreams, jumping out the window and flying around the buildings and parks.

10 yrs old and dreaming about eating punani? WHEWWWW

and aw meaning of skeleton dreams:

Skeleton

The skeleton is a universal symbol of depletion, death, and secrets. Likewise, in dreams, it can appear in a variety of ways and reveal a variety of things. To discern an appropriate meaning requires examination of the context, and your reaction to the skeleton in the context it appeared.

The depletion scenario often occurs when skeletons are animated-their somewhat taunting presence will seem to exasperate you. Where are you when you find these animated skeletons? Combining the bones with the emotional image of the office, home, or a relative's home will indicate a facet of life where you feel as though someone or something is "sucking you dry." Interestingly, you may not be afraid of these skeletons and possibly may even enjoy them, intuitively realizing that you are related to them and don't mind being their benefactor. (In spite of the fact that you do not want to end up like them!)

Death scenarios are contrasted to the above by the complete lack of animation. Often, there is more fear associated with the discovery of the bones as well.

Upon discovery, did you know whose bones they were and how they came to be there? These dream discoveries may offer insight into a person (or yourself) who is being symbolically killed by their circumstances. This death may be either emotional or physical.

Secrets, or "skeletons in the closet," is the last scenario. Bones of this nature often appear in very inappropriate situations, but don't often generate much reaction among the dream characters. People know there are bones around, but they are not discussed in the dream. By assessing who is in the dream when the bones are found, insights can be drawn about the relationships and loose ends surrounding the person(s). If you are hiding something in waking life, the skeleton bones may appear in your dream in plain sight of some significant other in your life. The fact that that dream character doesn't seem to notice your "skeletons" is the handiwork of your unconscious protecting you. However, such a dream image may be a warning signal that you either need to be more careful about exposing a vice, or cut it out of your life completely.

I think 10/11 that's that age. Normal age to wonder about this and that.

Hmm..doesn't sound like what i felt. Maybe the idea of leaving a safe and familiar home for something completely unknown "depletes" a person.

Strangely enough, last night I had a dream that I vividly remember, and it had been a long time...I dreamt I was visiting a new apartment in a southern European country (I'm actually thinking of trying to move to Portugal these days) and what was strange was that the whole apartment was obviously empty, except the bedroom in which some stuff was left behind, namely books and newspapers. I read a lot of both. And they were in French and Dutch (two official languages of Belgium, where I live now) :wtf:

The creepy thing is that at some point I look outside the window, and see a roundabout, in the middle of which there were all those baby carriages :dwillhuh: Then I see all these women and men who go there, shed a tear and drop flowers...turns out the roundabout was a cemetery for babies :wtf::wtf::wtf:

Used to sleepwalk when I was a kid I believe...And this lasted for about 3 months but probably once a week I would wake up in the middle of the night and walk out to my living room...

And when I get to my living room I just stare at the ceiling for about a minute until I start seeing these scary looking faces and heads coming down from my ceiling.

Then I'd snap back into consciousness and run back into my room and go to sleep or to my parents room because I was scared...

That shyt is spooky as hell. Some of yall got some scary ass dreams.

I have a few I remember clearly:

1. I had the dream with the girl and fell in love and all that. I met her in real life too a few months later but she didn't give me no play.

2. Not really a dream but related. When we was kids, me and my cousins used to go to this day care centre where my aunties worked during the school break for a holiday program and whenever we where there we had to have an afternoon nap in one of the rooms. I clearly remember that I never really slept but I would lay there and used to always feel like i was floating and looking down at myself from above. A couple weeks ago I found out that two of my cousins used to do the same thing when they was there.

3. I used to dream I was in fights with people I knew in real life only in the dream my punches had no affect or force at all. Like I would punch as hard as I could but it didn't phase them one bit.

4. I used to have a reoccuring dream where there was a rope across a big river with white water and me and some friends would have to get across by hanging on the rope and climbing across. Either I or one of my friends would fall in and the dream would start over, or we would make it across and the dream would start over. I had this same dream for years.

5. I used to have lucid dreams all the time. Like I would always figure out I was dreaming and then I would switch whatever i was originally dreaming about and instead start flying which was always fun or i would seek out a hot chick and get busy. It really helped when I would have nightmares too because I would quickly figure out it was a dream and I would force myself to wake up. I can only remember one time ever having a nightmare that i knew was a nightmare and was unable to force myself to wake up.

weird.

Ok here goes mine:

From ages 6-8 yrs old, I had a dream of my mother and I taking a ride down a war torn street, and everything was blood shot red with fire burning everywhere. And For some odd reason I felt as if demon like creatures were chasing us. It will end with my mother shedding a tear....

From ages 5-6 yrs old, I had a reoccurring dream of me driving my mother's car around the neighborhood like a pro.

I don't know how I remember these dreams

those are two very different dreams
