Any you Brehs at the age where friends are dying from poor lifestyle choices?

I'm 33...no one I know is at that stage.

My closest friends either kept up good habits all the way through or have started cleaning up their diet within the last couple of years. We would party on weekends in our early 20s, but I could easily go a year or more without drinking a drop of alcohol. None of us ever smoked anything (black & mild, swisher, kool, malboro etc).

I see way too many young black men smoking shyt. I've seen what happens to older people with lung cancer. That shyt is not a game. Brehs need to give up the smoking and alcohol.

Had a friend die from complications from years of drugs. Heroin even. Was the result of a fukked up childhood. Life plays hard, no second chances from some mistakes.

Lots of people around having health issues lately Co-worker done caught trench foot, broke a toe, and has ring worm. Friend of mine gave her self an ulcer, another friend has stage 4 brain cancer.

I'm 36, got a homie who's 34 who's been in remission for years (cancer/leukemia)

he was always active exercise wise and ok diet wise, really slim dude, it surprised us all...glad he's still here with us and good.

most of my friends around my age take pretty good care of themselves. one of my guys is diabetic, we actually discuss health matters pretty openly (for a minute I was having mad tests done for Crohn's/colitis since I was having some issues and my mom has Crohn's). have another close friend who I think is a fully functioning alcoholic (and was like this for YEARS before his divorce), he's set in his ways tho. crazy because he goes hard in the gym, I think he's trying to offset his boozing but he's smart enough to know that's not really how that works. now that I think about it, a few of us have struggled with drinking, i calmed down a lot in my last relationship

My Aunt died of cancer this summer, she only diagnosed 10 months ago, she was gone in less than a year

Problem is shyt like cancer , Is like a lottery

Im late 30s. , since my 20s ive seen froends my age die of that. , Im seeing a lot of older dudes i know a out 5 to 10 years older die

Actually had to ask my pops were his friends dying in theor 30s and 40s.

The crazy thing is the people i know who doed of cancer were all living in the US or UK

This society is cancerous when compared to Nigeria.
