Then no I'm not an alcoholic. Haven't missed any days at work. Don't wet the bed lol

the former I've never done either. But its certainly not the best way to wake up for work. I've never missed a gig or a job because of drinking. I think most heavy drinkers dont because money funds your vice.

If I can offer anything as an ancient creature (by Coli standards)

I am a lifelong functioning alcoholic

I've lost a marriage and a potential second marriage over it but never a job or .. other bad types of losses

I'm defiant in my addiction now. I try to do the right thing when I have somewhere to be (like work or w/e) but on my days off I go in. People who don't like it I just kiss them on the forehead on the way out.

I know you don't like it but I havent changed yet. And I am done fronting like I'm gonna.

Here's the numbers. On a regular school night I grab a 40 on the way in and be happy with that.

On a day when I am left to my own devices.. I could drink beers from noon til midnight.

Here's what I wanted to tell y'all

I have fukced around and become addicted. I never thought I was like the dudes that down 1/5s of liq each day, but if I try to quit now I have withdrawal symptoms. And it's no joke.

The more times you quit, the harder the effects hit

If I ever wanna quit again, I can never start back up. Cause the next round of detox will rock me to the core (the last round was crazy). And you seriously only have but so many times to stop and start. It's deadly.

Stop now if you're on the path and prone to it. Cause you get trapped by our own physiology.

You start to live on booze. To sleep. Different shyt. And your body fights you harder and harder every time you make the switch from booze hound to tee total

It's a dirty game Sibs
Real ass post breh :salute:

I was an alcoholic for 16 years off and on. I actually quit for a year and a half at one time then other times I went months without it but overall I spent at least 12 of those 16 years as an alcoholic

Fortunately I didn’t get addicted. I think what saved me from that was I had a horrible experience drinking in the morning back in 2006. Since then I made it a point to not drink until hours after I get up, normally not until late afternoon(6 pm) or later.

I quit almost 2 years ago (July 2021) completely :ehh:

I understand the urge to drink and def aint here to judge brehs. But if it’s interfering in your life it ain’t worth it brehs.
