Thats dope too. real talk. wouldn't be me, cause some of my best experiences in my life came from being fukked up. But people work differnet ways.

I feel u man,

I think it’s the opposite for me, drunk people scared me as a kid. I saw things being done to people who were blacked out sexually and I was mortified.

I believe it. with any drug you should be around people with positive mindsets. in the wrong frame of mind some terrible shyt could easily happen.

I have never drank in my life, don’t even know what being drunk is like and I don’t even plan to :yeshrug:

Can't control your legs and you feel like a toddler when walking around...

Also your senses are kinda dull and you talk really loud...

I ain't an alcoholic though...I might drink a beer or whatever once a month...drinking is occasionally keeps the mind sharp...

I'm like 5'10 195 at my heavisest and im drinking dudes 6'4" 275 pounds under the table. WHY because they played football and I DRANK. thats not good. but I'm saying. people are good at what they are good at.

I'm an incidental alcoholic.

Never been a fan of alcohol, except in very specific social settings (due to feeling relaxed and easygoing), but otherwise...nope. However, I did get addicted to an amphetamine-like substance (not meth, don't have meth mouth or sores and have been on this particular drug for years), and I find that alcohol is really one of the only ways to handle the anxiety and emptiness that comes with the comedown.

Then I got hooked on xanax for a little while, especially since it did a much better job of helping me through the pseudo-amphetamine comedown than alcohol did. However my xanax supply dried up and put me through benzo withdrawal (which is hell on earth). So now, in lieu of benzos, I drink alcohol, since it's the only thing that comes close to hitting those GABA receptors in the same way.

So: my true addictions and drugs of choice are stimulants and benzos.

When I have both, I never drink alcohol.

When my benzos are gone, I drink about every day. So I'm an incidental alcoholic. :yeshrug:

:mjlol: why do people who don't drink post in threads like these. no one is even talking to y'all. unless you legit have something to help people, go head onto the thousands of other threads about other shyt.

And Ya god damn right I'm an alcoholic. Half the people in my city are alcoholics. It really is miserable like someone said earlier and I just take shyt a day at a time, drinking or not. I been drinking less tho and not cussing people out as much. I should probably quit but if I do that, I will likely have to move. :yeshrug:

That's also why I try to stay away from opiates. I've had the occasional Vicodin from a friend and I know I would get hooked if I had unlimited access...especially to something stronger like Percocet. I already have stomach problems and opiates block you up.

Plus I don't inject anything, but just the idea of pills wearing out on me and wanting to graduate to something higher (like heroin) scares me.

Alcohol exacerbates the effects of all the aforementioned drugs BTW.
