This is my mom right here. She's proud of the bare minimum and lords it over me any chance she gets, even though she has to live with me to survive. I don't resent her for not making better decisions to make my adult life easier (savings account/college fund/house/car etc.), I resent her for making decisions that made it impossible to be able to take care of herself at this point. It's a burden to take care of a parent.

I did , until I realized my parents aren't perfect and they were doing the best they could. Sometimes you have to look at what made the situation, or bad choice. Granted that's my situation, I know brehs who have been fukking abused by their parents physically and mentally. So I can never jduge or be mad at a persons choice.

My dad is dead.
My mom has caused me some problems, like not giving me solid financial advice, encouraging me to get credit cards that would eventually become a bigger problem. But she's also the one who provided for me for years so it evens out, shyt happens.
My step dad, we didn't always get along growing up but he (and my mom) worked hard as fukk to make sure we had a good childhood.
0 resentment from me.
