Instead of complaining you need to be using that as motivation to accomplish clear outlined goals that will enable you to make sure your future kids don't have that same resentment towards you.

Only because they had me. I've already told them I wished they hadn't. I live a pretty easy life considering all I have to do is attend college, no work or anything, but I'd prefer to have not been born. Life is far too boring for my taste. Perhaps, it's because I'm a boring person as well.

Uhh maybe but definitely not as much. Took a lot of healing, working on myself and realizing that you can't change people and that they themselves have to want to change.

Coming to terms with that, I started giving no fukks about what my parents did outside of bringing drama and unnecessary stress into my life.

You are definitely right though, a lot of children who are very successful running their own businesses before the age of 18, making hundreds of thousands if not millions a year, geniuses in their respective fields etc are that way because their parents saw their talents and gifts at an early age and nurtured them to where they are at now.

I plan to do exactly this for my children. Look up a man named Lenon Honor. Him and his wife are doing similar things.
