Any of y'all eat Sole? And am I the only black person that doesn't like Tilapia? It seems like that fish came out of nowhere and became the go to fish for nikkas. Is it because it's cheap? Grilled Halibut steaks is a delicacy. nikkas gotta try it at least once.

they stopped calling it red snapper over here, they call it rockfish

the two fish aren't the same, but sometimes rockfish is advertised as red snapper

Yeah, somehow this thread is exactly what it should be and nothing like it should be.

In reference to the OP, I like trout. It was trout that brought me back to seafood after skipping it for a majority of my life.

People actually eat catfish that hasn't been fried.

Good catfish doesn't taste like muddy river water. The meat just has a fish taste to it and the rest of it just tastes like whatever seasonings or sides you eat with it.

I fukked up and bought some doodoo ass frozen catfish fillets from Walmart. First bite I was like . It was literally like a spoon ful of mud from the bottom of the river....straight shyt.

I found out if you soak the fish in milk that strips that muddy river flavor from it. I was literally about to throw that whole bag away.
