All through Chicago I’m seeing more and more cars sitting on the street with boots from beaters to luxury. That is more anecdotal evidence the economy is fukked.
Anybody else notice the increase of cars with boots?

Yeah. They drive around my neighborhood and boot cars almost weekly. Sometimes I check online to see how much they owe. Some people be owing $2000+ in tickets. I once had $400 in tickets and made sure to take care of it asap. Not trying to have my shít towed.

I was thinking the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Random cars on main streets and side streets woth boots at a rate ive not noticed before and I always notice boots. Usually say “Boots are back in season” like a dad joke. Stopped doing it after 3 boots over a couple miles of distance.
