Anybody else prefer Drake's music before he got a ghostwriter?

Also before all of this a lot of Drake haters were saying Drake wasn't that lyrical his shyt wasn't hot.

Nikkas find out about QM and then Drake haters are praising QM's lyricism talking about he was giving Drake fire.

So when Drake spit those bars it was weak but once you heard QM lazy flow it over a poorly mixed reference tape it was hot?
:mjlol:

IYRITITL is Drake's worst lyrical product by far QM is not even that nasty with it. :heh:

he pretty much created the whole song
How if Drake added a second verse, a third verse which is by far the longest on the song and an outro? He slightly modified the hook and took the first verse removing a few lines.

No he didn't :mjlol:

Nickle F already said he never wrote for Drake and he's nowhere to be found on the tracklist for SFG EP.

i still fai to see how q miller was a ghostwriter if he was credited on the album
He gave him credit so that we went drake got exposed he could just say that he gave him credit to help him craft songs but let's be real he probably gave drake everything he has been doing recently ever since his style switched

To me, that was just a contingency plan for Drake

I prefer his stuff pre-IYRTITL. IYRTITL was just okay with a few songs with good replay value. Quentin only wrote on 5 songs and didn't write the whole 10 Bands but nikkas are ignoring that. Drake wrote way more on 10 Bands.

Samuels, Adam Feeney and R. Thomas III are all credited as writers on 10 Bandz, besides Q. Miller and Drake. If Q. Miller did the flow, hook and the first verse, why are you so confident in saying that Drake did everything else? What did those other 3 writers do?

@ISOMELO Surprise: Drake Has A History Of Using "Ghostwriters" (If You Want To Call Them That). like i said he didnt write everything, but he often helped out and wrote that on going in verse.
They were frequent collaborators of course he helped. The point is Nickelus F out his own mouth said he didn't write for Drake in that interview and in another. Sitting here acting like ain't write most of his catalog is asinine.

Rough couple days nah I'm chilling this all the booth wanna talk about though. :manny:

So true he was just cruising on that entire mixtape. Even 12am was a let down.

Still using reference tracks and sounding pretty average lyrically is a bit problematic for us Drake fans. What happened to his bars? Where's that lyricism?

producers, and the sample also get writers credits. but exactly, you can guess that q.miller did the 2nd and 3rd verse too since the first verse and the hook is very similar. maybe that reference track was only the first take. if he can assume that drake wrote the rest then other people can assume that q.miller did the rest too.

lmfao i said that he didnt write everything for drake, dont act like i said that. if you read the interviews he basically confirms that he wrote some verses including the im going in verse. but yea he mostly helped out, dont get me wrong.
