I really dnt get this board. This is not really related to the discussion in this thread but I need to say this..
When someone says a Jay is Goat..you'll see many people say shyt on such statements and verbally rip you to shreds
But when a guy says Pac is GoAT its for some reason accepted as some default fact.

Pac lyrically isnt even worthy to spit shine the shoes of a Jay or a Nas, and same goes for the aspect of flow the trait of versatility.. Im confused. Are people judging Pac by different standards or something?? Sht doesnt make sense.
Jay is obviously a million miles ahead of Pac in the art of rapping, performing and recording. Pac's breath control was horrid.
Anyways I jus had to get this off my chest.
Im tired of ppl saying sht like "Jay Z can never be as good as Pac", or sht like "Jay Z is overrated Pac is a real MC"...psshhh my ass..
Anyways go on with the discussion, I just wanted to aim at the delusional Pac fanboys that overrate him all the way to the moon.
-Most of his albums are duds (Vol 2 & 3, BP2, KG)
-He hops on musical trends & in doing that, his music doesn't age well
-His music lacks substance & when he tries to make a "deep" song, it sounds contrived & forced (examples being "Ballad for the Fallen Soldier", "Minority Report", & on "This Can't Be Life" you could feel the pain in Beans/Scarface verses but not Jay's)
Even though he's not in my top 10 but I'd still put his flow/wordplay over most rappers

If you wuz to say his delivery is wack now I maybe coulda cosigned you....in comparison to what it wuz....I liked him better before he start tryna be too nice with the flow.....like back when his flow wuz choppy in parts and off,and he had that cold monotone delivery,that fit his image to me when he rapped more heartless.....he rap like he care about shyt now
...back in the day he woulda rhymed about the birth of Blu Ivy with the same tone and delivery he rapped about how much his watch cost....people complain about rappers not showing emotion but to me that absolutley fit Jay in terms of his image....he a ol happy azz nikka now,but the flow still impeccable.

Pac is dead and Jay isn't. Pac died in his prime and Jay didn't. One had all the promise in the world and the other has pretty much no upside at this point
