Anybody else think Jay-Z's flow and delivery is wack for the most part?

But when a guy says Pac is GoAT its for some reason accepted as some default fact.
Nah he's not the GOAT & neither is Jay

Pac lyrically isnt even worthy to spit shine the shoes of a Jay or a Nas, and same goes for the aspect of flow the trait of versatility.. Im confused. Are people judging Pac by different standards or something?? Sht doesnt make sense.

His music has aged better & he has better content. He's not "lyrical" like Jay, but you can feel his music whereas Jigga's raps are empty. Using that logic, Canibus & Immortal Technique are the GOAT rappers. His fans tend to put him ahead of Jay because of his music's content & the emotions he conveys, which he's better at than Jay.

Jay is obviously a million miles ahead of Pac in the art of rapping, performing and recording. Pac's breath control was horrid.
I don't know man, Pac could rock the stage & his work ethic was amazing. Look at all the tracks that dropped after his death, even to this day.

Im tired of ppl saying sht like "Jay Z can never be as good as Pac", or sht like "Jay Z is overrated Pac is a real MC"...psshhh my ass..
It's all opinion, I like Pac's music more but Reasonable Doubt is my most played album between those two :yeshrug:

Pac released "Me And My Girlfriend" and Jay released "'03 Bonnie and Clyde"

:pachaha:
True but those type of songs made it possible for Jay to

1. Be alive with half a billion more than Pac had when he died.
2. There is no 2.

As far as making 5-6 sell out singles out of hundreds and 2-3 sellout albums out of like 15-16, sounds like a damn good deal. Now if Jay had a bunch of songs like that and a bunch of albums like BP3 and Best Of Both Worlds, then, we would have a problem.:shaq:

Jay and Pac are indifferent to me in a bigger picture though, both the Gods in completely different ways.
Pac would probably be a social legend on some black Brad Pitt shyt (but of course with assfukked deals) and Jay would be what he is.

I don't really care about that as far as music goes, but I can imagine that it feels better having 500 million and being alive + being considered the goat by millions of people cause you have a few commercial songs and albums but also a lot of music that is considered the best by many. Than dying in your mid 20s cause you kept it "real" (only stupid shyt pac did was the things that birdbrains consider real).

As far as if it being a win or not, that's for Jay to decide.

And as far as Bonnie & Clyde, one of jays most successful singles internationally, the broads loved that joint :manny:. I can't hate on a breh dropping 1 of those songs to be able to feed his and reach new territory, as long as he drops 100 other songs to compliment for my suffer.

-Most of his albums are duds (Vol 2 & 3, BP2, KG)
-He hops on musical trends & in doing that, his music doesn't age well
-His music lacks substance & when he tries to make a "deep" song, it sounds contrived & forced (examples being "Ballad for the Fallen Soldier", "Minority Report", & on "This Can't Be Life" you could feel the pain in Beans/Scarface verses but not Jay's)

Even though he's not in my top 10 but I'd still put his flow/wordplay over most rappers

- So 4 of what 11 albums is most now? :skip:
- :shaq2:
- to each his own but the "substance" argument is kinda played out b.

Never listened to BP3 or WTT but I'm sure they're trash based on the singles I heard. Vol 1, Dynasty, BP1, & TBA are :ehh: So that leaves RD & AG as the only true gems in his discography. He's the only GOAT contender with a subpar discog. His freestyles & unreleased songs are :ohlawd: though

TBA & BP1 are average to you? Like i said i'm not gonna argue against your opinion but these 2 albums are certified classics according to the whole hip hop world.

Jay's voice only got wack starting with Kingdom Come if you ask me. From 96-00 he had one of the best deliveries. Sounded like exactly what he was....a schemin ass brooklyn kid. Him and Raekwon had the illest deliveries in NY.
