Anybody ever been fired from a job before

OK. Let's see if I recall it right cause it happened almost 10 years ago now. I told this story on SOHH before.

Basically, the store I worked for, there was a lot of restaurants on the same street and I would have to deliver stuff to them everyday. I had like a little trolley, I dunno what they call em in the US but it was to put heavy boxes in it and roll em around and all that.

Anyway, I made a delivery and before going back to the store I sat down for a smoke. When I was smoking my cig, these 2 Irish gypsies showed up. Talked to them for a while and they told me how they smoked crack and were on benefits(welfare). Anyway, they had a big TV with them and asked if they could borrow the trolley to take the TV to their block that was nearby. So I said OK.

We got to their building and they went in with the trolley. I waited outside for them to come back. I waited for like 15 to 20 minutes and was like "sh!t, I'm gonna get in trouble with the boss for this" I was about to leave and one of them came out with the trolley. So I went back to the store and the delivery which shoulda taken 10 minutes tops to make took me over half an hour. So the guy fired me, there and then.

Also that same morning, the dumb f*ck boss parked his car next to the delivery van. I opened the van door and it put a dent in the side of his car. Then the trolley and taking so long to make the delivery was the last straw, so he fired me.

That was too friendly of u. I would of told them dudes, "can't, it aint mine " and went back to my cigarette. U live and u learn hombre

got fired from a company I was temping at doing contract work. that sucked, cuz my car was in the shop and I needed that money to get it fixed

got fired from comcast call center cuz I changed the admin passwords on my workstation so that the quality assurance couldn't monitor my calls or watch my screen. fukk a comcast. they even were ready to try to have me do the walk of shame. but that place fired folks so often, when they called me in the boss's office right as my shift started, I knew something was wrong, so I grabbed my shyt before hand, and dipped out the back door right where my car was so they couldn't walk me out like some kinda jerk with security.

I didn't think it would take that long so I went along with it. Maybe I felt bad for them and couldn't say no. One of them was telling me how hellish his life was and he didn't have a family and he wished he died cause he had no one in the world.

i came to work bluntd..... hit da roach blunt one morning before i went to work.. the minute i got to work the boss called me into his office to tell me about a consult job he wantd me to do.... i was listening but you could clearly tell that my mind was elsewhere plus my eyes was red and i smelled like a blunt......dat nikka sent me home b..... i wrote a letter of apology n got the job back though......

me and these kids talked about stealing dvds from this supermarket we worked at. they talked about doing it together and I said fukk that im a lone wolf. long story short they got caught and I didnt and they ratted me out. my manager was cool as shyt but she told me they had me on tape which they prob didnt. they said if you admit it we will just fire you you wont get in trouble. so I admitted it and they said I was "terminated". I was makin way more sellin tree anyway ha that was just a front for my parents anyway I didn't care.

Working as a cashier at shoprite some years ago...my drawer kept coming a short, more then 3-5 times i think..i forget..anyway, i finally got suspended, came back to work for a union meeting...the union guy told me i could have my job back but that he didn't think they wanted me back...so i just stopped showing up before they had the chance to fire me...good riddance

I technically got fired from my job at a MovieStop.

It was my last day working there anyways since I was about to move to Georgia, but I had accidentally found a way in the system to generate infinite free store credit, which led to me getting probably hundreds of bucks in free shyt.

I had gotten into an argument with one of my roommates about a week prior, so that fakkit snitched on me so I got fired on my last day and was told to never go into another MovieStop/GameStop again.

i got fired from a photo processing lab (it was independently owned) that i worked at while i was in college. i would come in after my class and I would work by myself and develop rolls of 35mm film for clients that couldn't take their film to Walgreens or CVS ( or , depending on the client) well, i had a girlfriend that had a shoebox full of undeveloped film, so i took her to the lab afterhours and processed her photos. we were ALMOST through (and we would have actually been finished, but she wanted me to print some damn 8x10s ) and the owner shows up . he looked at the HUGE stack of photos sitting on the table, my girlfriend, and all the chemicals that have been used and called me outside.

they told me to come in on my day off for some training to get a raise,couldnt clock in cause it was my day off so i hollered at one of the managers "john bring your ass over and come swipe me in" in front of everybody big fat dominican snitched on me to the other top managers and it was a wrap for me
