It wasn't me driving, that's for sure. I did a lil research and found out they're gonna pressure me into giving up my wife's info but "I don't know." :birdman:

But I think the whole thing is BS. If a cop pulls me over, fine you got me. I used to average a speeding ticket every 6 months so I know that game. But they got a picture? That's it? Cops don't even need to pull you over anymore? I'll pay the ticket if that fat ass cop agrees to a pay cut.

It's the principle of it all, but I definitely wasn't driving anyway.

Here in NY, it does not matter who was driving, the registered owner of the car eats the punishment. It's just like any other parking ticket. I don't know how it works wherever you are.

This is how it works in MD as well. No points on your record but you have to pay between a 40-100 fine depending on where you got your picture taken.

You think they give a fukk or think they should? :usure:

If its registered to you then its your responsibility.

:childplease: I'm in FL. We don't have to wear motorcycle helmets, only half the drivers have insurance, no inspections... I love these backwards mothafukkas .

Anyways, the notice says
If you assert the vehicle was in the care, or control of another person, you must provide the name, address, DOB and, if known, the drivers license number of the person who leased, rented, or otherwise had care custody, or control of the vehicle at the time of the violation.

But I read some you don't actually have to give up that info. They're gonna try to strong arm me though.

Personally, I don't see how these things hold up in court. I think people just pay because they're shook but I ain't never scared.

I'll keep you posted.

Wait, some are saying don't pay it and others are saying to pay it...where are ya'll from?

I've never heard of it being reduced to a citation, I just normally pay so that they don't tow my shyt. :guilty:

:snoop: I think I got one yesterday evening too, but I had to run it, I couldn't stop in the middle of the damn street.

Its not a citation
I believe Its an 'outside' company that operates those cameras, not the State/city.
U wont get a warrant or court date for not paying.
Wont be able to renew your registration though.
Its a hustle some company came up with, they break bread with the State/city

ohhhh ok.
Darn it, I wish I would have known this before. I'm not paying this.
The only reason why I paid before is because I had others, and once they accumulate...they ummmm tow it. I'm googling like hell now to see just how illegal/legal this crap is.

Alot of misinformation in this thread.

My city has tons of these fukking things, like literally i can drive down a road and every intersection has one for blocks.

Ive never been caught by one but i have seen these fukkers fire off for no reason, its really noticeable at night when they just be flashing and no ones in the intersection, iill be chilling at the red light like :guilty:

Ive also seen the go off if your coming up to the light too fast, even if you stop at the light. I heard they can get you for speeding but ive never heard any first hand accounts.

Its not a moving violation either, its just a ticket for the registerd owner. Its not points off your license either since they cant prove who was driving, but they will stack up unless you take care of them and they can and will tow your shyt if you dont pay. Also they will get you when you try to renew your shyt.

People always claim they know the trick to get out of all these tickets and citation, since every one is an attorney, id imagine they would have took down the cameras by now since everyone is beating them :troll: . Im sure everyone once in awhile someone gets off, but stop acting like its the norm, :childplease:

Id imagine 99.9 of the time the ticket will stick.

tow your car??

:comeon:

Its simple..when u get one,u have 30-90 days or something to fight it or pay 75$
Do nothing and it goes up to 100$ and its basically admission of guilt.
They wont renew your registration til u pay that 100$ and they will keep sending u letters to remind u bout this shyt

They aint gonna tow shyt

:shaq2: Breh, they will tow your shyt. Its treated just like any other traffic tickets, of course they not going to come tow it if you just got one, shyt you gonnna need alot of them before they come after. Alot of times the city dont come after you until you owe a certain dolllar amount to them and then your flagged and they seek you out.

Best believe if you got like 10 of these bytches they will tow your shyt if they find it.
