a friend of mine was just rushed to the emergency room with tightness in his chest. He's 40. They hooked him up to an EKG machine and said it was a false alarm this time, but that they can tell he's had several small heart attacks before. He was so surprised because he's said he's never felt anything before :ohhh:

So now I'm over here on some Fred Sanford shyt, thinking the big one is coming for me. On Web MD, trying to self diagnose, scaring myself half to death :mjcry:

Anybody ever have problems with their cardiac system? How did you guys remedy it? I don't wanna die brehs...:mjcry:

No, but I may have had a stoke before. I think it was from pesticide poisoning or something. I eat a shyt load of fruits and vegetables and I almost never wash them shyts:yeshrug: I had made some French fries out in the oven by just cutting the potatoes. Then like 30-40'minutes later I broke out in hives all of a sudden and started itching real bad all over my face and chest and the only thing I could think to do was run and jump in the shower. It wasn't really helping, and the fukking side of my face went numb and I could feel my eye drooping down:damn: shyt was dumb scary. shyt subsided but my face still felt a little "off" for like a day. A lot of people told me it sounds like I had a stroke.

Regarding heart attacks, I would assume eat hearth healthy foods, and non artery clogging shyt and make sure you do cardio throughout the week and you should be good. I ain't no doctor though, and I don't wash my fruits and veggies so you probably need to consult a real professional before you listen to me :whoa:

Edit: Don't ever go to webmd. Ever. That shyt will do nothing but have you think you about to die or got the worst possible disease.

That's some scary shyt man! Did you ever follow up with a doctor to confirm? I have been eating better for the past 4 or 5 years. I eat a lot of veggies, fruit, and water. But I do eat a lot of bullshyt too. I try to indulge in moderation, but I do allow myself to get carried away at times. I'm also making a more concentrated effort to be more active. Really need to stop this shyt and buckle down. I'm getting too old to be living so reckless with my health :mjcry:

I never went to a doctor. I'm not gonna lie, that was a scary ass moment. I was powerless and didn't know what was going on. Looking back, I feel like I could have died or something. I'm a pescatarian. I was like 2 years in at that time. I was in great health. I had just had a check up a few months prior and all my reading were off the chart in a good way and my doctor was like what are your eating habits? I thought she wa about to tell me some bad shyt, but she was like don't change a thing you're doing. That's why I think it may have been some type of pesticide poising or allergic reaction

Thanks man. This was like 5 years ago and nothing even remotely close to that has happened, so I'm good. I'm damn near a healt nut and eat healthy as shyt. It made me realize that you can be healthy as you want, and you should, but some shyt be out of your control I guess.

Never had health problems, but have had multiple family members fall due to food/lifestyle related illnesses.

Not a physician, but there are a few simple steps that can help prevent most of the common problems.

If you don't smoke great, if you do try to stop using whatever non chemical method that you think might work.

90 to 100% of what you drink should be water. I don't do the entire detailed debate about what kind of water, or how much water we should drink a day, but I do know that most of the empty calories(and sugar) that we consume is from what we drink.

Once a week, and your schedule will tell you which is the best day.....once a week...go somewhere and walk continuously for an hour. No set pace, no distance goal, just start moving and keep it up for an hour.

Do this consistently for 6 months. Costs nothing and is not any kind of major adjustment but it will slowly improve your health.

The 6 months are a transition period where you're going to prepare your body for whatever diet, exercise, lifestyle changes you're going to make later.

Trust me.....crawl, then walk, then run.

I'm so sorry your friend had to go through that. :picard:

No heart attack here but at 22 years old I almost had a stroke. I was stressed working at my job and while on the road my vision got blurry. The left side of my brain felt like someone took a rubber banded stack of needles and shoved it in my brain. My speech started to get slurred and I had to go to the emergency room. Doctor told me if I didn't leave my job I will have one for real. I didn't and months later the same thing happened when I turned 23. I finally left like 3 weeks after that. My advice to your friend, and to you, is to take care of yourself the best way possible and REDUCE STRESS!! I stress that. You can really overwork your body to where you can make yourself sick. Hugs to your boy <3
