I moved across the country 3 weeks after I applied and got a job transfer.
It worked out.
I wouldn't do it again though.

When you move to a new place, you only think of the good new experiences that you will have.
You never think of the bad new experiences you will have. You never think of the things you will miss.
And I left a lot of family when I relocated. I never thought it would affect me but it did.

Moving away and starting new can be great. But I think you have to be relatively well-prepared.

if OP is serious, this guy right here is just an example of someone who doesn't think he can do it himself, so he's going to bring you down. If that's really your goal or dream, do it - don't let others brings you down cause they're too scared to do it themselves and would rather remain in their comfortable bubble.

I did it when I was 19. It's harder on your own, but better to go through the growing pains early

Yea I did a year ago.

Make sure where you move to has a lot of available jobs.

I made that mistake once and it bit me in the ass.

Me and my girl have been back and forth between Atl and La for the past few years, planning to move back to La in a few months cause were tired of it here and most of our friends and work opportunities are there. I would say dont be afraid of failure, we had ups and downs but wouldnt trade our experiences for anything. Prepare as much as you can, but trust your gut. The change forces you to grow as a person, one way or the other...
