A few of my nyggaz dabbled in the pimp game for a minute, but they said it ain't all glamorous like it is portrayed on TV. Them nyggaz were always stressed out, paranoid and having manage all these different hoes. They told me they had to always worry about sting operations, byytches gettin robbed, or claiming they got robbed. Byttches that could posibly run to the popos and rat. Pimping is the ultimate business. You literally have to be watching your girls 24/7, be lurking on some stalker type sh*t. Sh*t is only really worth it if you got high net worth clientele or whorehouses. Some people get it confused, a lot of pimps do it because it's an option for them, not because it's a gold mine. If you got a good strip, maybe the chick is f*ckin 3 dudes a night (maybe). Let's say she's charging $100/head (no pun intended). And she's doing it 5 nights a week (realistic) that's only $1500/wk. Then you gotta give her food, clothing, shelter, miscellaneous (drugs, liquor, etc), and some cash for the ho. The pimp would be lucky to clear $500/wk off of all that. So that's why you gotta have a stable, and be constantly driving around checking on the corners to make sure your girls are there, or they are in a hotel clockin'. So if you a decent pimp, you got a stable of 5 women, you makin' about $2500/wk. Then of course, you gotta deal with nikkaz tryin' to take your territory, so you need to hire enforcer or pay protection, probably run you about another $500/wk. $2000/wk is ok money, but it's not worth doing fed time, gettin' murked by rival gangs. Now if you got a Bunny Ranch type brothel, that's when you eat my nigs

was watching Superfly the other day out of the blue (hadn't seen it in a while). and there was some convo between Priest and some other dude about how he could get more money. and dude told him "...then there's always pimpin but you don't have the heart for that..." (paraphrasing). keep in mind dude was a mid-level drug dealer, ready to kill, never compromising on deadlines, etc. dude was tough. granted it was a movie but still...pimping is a special category of crime. it's like you're managing cattle. hoes sell their soul to the devil in exchange of drugs, affection, a sense of belonging and the hope of realizing glamorous fantasies. to be a pimp, you gotta be that devil. like i said, not everyone has the heart to do it. never knew pimps but i've known "wannabes".
