Anybody ever run out of gas?

Once when I was in college.

Walked a couple blocks to the gas station, copped a canister and learned my lesson.

Yea couple years ago
I was able to pull into a school campus my friend worked at.
Some Mexicans were there doing landscaping and tried to charge me $20 for ONE gallon of gas
nikkas really just left me when I said naw y'all tripping
Ended up having to wait a while for progressive road side assistance to slide thru

It almost happened a third time, but by that time, I had AAA, and I called and told them I was out of gas, and they brought a gallon to my house. The car started, but I wasn’t taking any chances.

I wasn’t about to get caught up again.

Left NY for DC needin' gas. I estimated I had enough to get to Jersey for cheaper gas. I lost my concentration long enough to miss the rest stop off the Turnpike I wanted & it was a wrap. Next rest stop was 10+ miles & I knew I wouldn't make it. I didn't.

I know a girl who ran out of gas right at the top of the Raritan bridge on the parkway. She thought she could make it to the Cheesequake rest stop. NOPE! She sat there crying for an hour holding up traffic until her father brought her gas. NY/NJ brehs know that is a TERRIBLE spot to get stuck.

it's happened to me twice. i was pushing this old minivan (yes a minivan, think gkmc cover) with a broken gas gauge that would never tell me when i was low on gas so i would literally have to estimate when i was low. once i stopped in the MIDDLE of an intersection like 20 feet from the gas station. but that wasn't as bad as the time i got stuck on the freeway and had to hop over a divider and walk 2 miles with my gas can to the nearest gas station

Yeah once, back in the day. This shytty ass Mustang I had fuel gauge was broken, so I always had to guesstimate how close I was to empty. Funny thing, I was on my way to put gas in and broke down like 2 minutes from the gas station
