Do you have a hand blender?

If so...pour some milk in a cup...mix it up until you get some air bubbles...then microwave it for a minute or so until it starts to rise.
Take it out, pour into coffee.

There's your cappuccino.

You just saved yourself $150.

my French press kit came with a carafe for foaming milk

you can also put milk in a container with lid and shake then place in microwave for 30 seconds

Had one and I prefer to make some coffee on a French press or Aeropress and heat milk on the microwave.

You can foam the milk with the French press or similar device

The Aeropress changed my life. Find a blend from Peets that you like and you've got a killer combination.

Caps are my favorite drink but Starbucks can't make em right so you have to go with coffee and sometimes nikkas don't feel like spending $3 or $4

I say about 95% of coffee shops can't make a good cap

Let me tell you something about starbucks.......The one and only time I've gone I just ordered a coffee with cream and sugar......got home started drinking it and eventually got near the bottom. Come to find out there was about a 1/2 inch of sugar packed at the bottom. I was wondering why it was getting so sweet. Never went back. I think Dunkin has better coffee anyway, but mostly I just drink some I made at home.

I got a French press..... But I use an Aero Press mostly for freshly grounded beans.... My stomach :flabbynsick: right now and that oil and sediment left by the French Press makes my stomach angry :sadcam:

Learned this from a white co worker.... He said you can get the best grinder and 1800 dollar machine and still make shytty cappuccinos if you don't know what you're doing....

There's definitely a technique to making a good cup of coffee in general. When I use my Aeropress, I heat the water to 80 degrees, pour it over the grinds and mix lightly for 10 seconds, close the filter over it and let it sit for another 20 seconds, and then press it into the cup for no longer than 30 seconds. Then I add a bit more hot water to the cup and call it good. I just make black Americanos with it, nothing fancy.

Learned the technique from this guy. He's a 2009 barista champion or some shyt.

It's true making a great cup of coffee is an art form. Like an americano..high concentrated coffee and hot water..seems simple enough right. A dope ass barista that knows how to make it is gonna make it taste way better than most baristas

You can fukk up a french press sometimes ...it's also an artform. The best way to make home brew is to use a dripper..they're cheap and easy to make and the preferred method for great coffee. Then when you start getting into it you can start buying ceramic drippers. Hour Glass viles to drip the the coffee in. And top of the line filters
